Well gosh, everything I have is a clone, except the IGO-W, and I'm pretty happy with my clones. I plan to buy more.
I just picked up a SvoMesto kayfun 3.1 and it has been good. My first Kayfun.
No leaks at all, I let it lay on it's side all night,, not a leak at all.
I have taken it apart several times now cause I am getting harsh hits.
But I narrowed it down to my juice, not the Kayfun.
Quite impressed with the Kayfun 3.1.
This is a clone of the original Kayfun, which, if I am not mistaken is a clone of the Russian 91%? or is that the other way around
I am not sure.
But the SvoMesto is built in Germany and the machining is so good that you can not see the seams at all.
The threading is smooth as silk.
I mean you have to be looking right at them to see the tiny lines. From just a few inches away, it's looks like a solid piece.
I generally like to only buy originals, such as the original Vision ViVi Nova's, some of the clones are garbage and fall apart.
And I want my money going to the original designer.
But I looked at the Russian 91% and the Kayfun, but the SvoMesto seemed better and I like the size.
For me, I will only find shops now where I can put my hands on things. I will rarely buy online anymore unless I have to.
And that will depend on the item.
For the record, I never would have bought a Kayfun without first getting my hands on it.
I bought an IBTanked, and I am not impressed. Looks good, but I just really do not like Carto's.
Bought an AGAT-2 and have done everything to try and get it working,
I am not sure I would have bought it if I had gotten my hands on it first.
I have others, and sold others that I would never have bought had I picked it up in my hands first.
Same here, in fact the most expensive mod I own is a $30 Electric Angel clone and it worked awsome for about 6 months until the plating wore off, I just can't justify spending $200+ on an ecig when I can be buying things for my daughter or saving money for bills. I will stick with my shoddy clones because they keep me off the smokes and thats what it all really comes down to. best of luck to the OPI have a wife and four kids so I am lucky if I can even afford a clone. The quality has been a little hit and miss on a few I've had and some require a little tweaking but all have served me well. The best I can suggest is to buy from a store or website that offers a solid warranty then try your best to break it while still under warranty. The reviews of clones on this forum can also save you a lot of trouble in the long run. Best of wishes to the OP and I hope you can share pictures of the 'real deal' with people like me who can't afford them.
As of now I am done buying clones. NEVER BUY A CLONE AGAIN!
i don't have a mod collection like some ppl but anything i buy from now on will be a clone
i refuse to pay $150-$200 on a piece of tubing that screws in an out at both ends...i paid out of pocket over $100 for one mod and will never do it again because i've had clones that worked much better
however i might reconsider my stance if companies or ppl start putting out good mods at reasonable prices ie: the legacy...the only other one i'd buy that isn't a clone i don't think is the mini e-cig
but i'm the wrong person to ask, at this point i'm cheap, my liquid is mtbaker because i like it but also because it's cheap, the rba's get used like twice a week so i'm not about to drop $100 on that
My thoughts too. To me it is a metal tube that houses a battery. If you look at the major ones, that is all it is. I refuse to believe a tube made out the same metal from two different companies would have a 10 to 20x better result *based on price. The only original I would ever think of spending cash on is an Otto Carver.
If you really want to go cheap on liquid mix it yourself. It is easy to do as long as you don;t have to every measurement down to the nanometer.
I recently purchased a Kayfun Lite+, Ehpro clone. It's perfect. The fit and finish are immaculate. My buddy has an original. I can't tell them apart, actually, mine might be a little better! But that may not be the case in all situations.
