...It's no better than the 510 brigade who tells every single newbie to get the 510 whether it suits their needs or not.

And no better than the mod brigade (like you) who tells everyone to get a mod whether it suits their needs or not.

I try to read what people are saying, tell them my experiences, and what I hypothesize would fit their needs best based on that. I have pointed newbies at Kr8's, 510's, super-minis, and mods.

You are just as bad as every other "e-cig religion." Your dogma is not helpful to anyone, except people who already think like you.

Not everyone has the same wants and needs as you do.

As soon as I hear someone ask for an e-cig with weak vapor production, cheap plasticy feeling batteries, cheesy toy looking colors covered with even tackier looking branding, burning filler, and muted chemical or perfume taste, and inconsistant air draw from battery to battery, and high start up cost.....I'll be more than happy to recommend a vaporking... there feel better.... I'll give you that one..

Ok my 2 :2c:. I hate v4l cartos. They taste terrible but that is only imo. I tried many of them and I won't buy/trade any more. Because I don't like the prefilled cartos, I won't buy the juice either.

The blank Turbo carts are awesome. No more blisters on my lip.

On the other hand . . . . I think the V4L pt is like a Timex. I have shut it in the door of my car 3 times! Twice I rode down the street with it sticking out. It now has 3 dents in it but it works as good as the day I got it. rofl.

now that right there is funny....picturing the PT dragging along like a seatbelt hanging out the door...

let me be clear....not everyone is lazy and simple minded....however there is a high degree of those that go the route of KR8....
I've seen plenty of them in my time here....that start with the 510...complain that they're having problems....ask for help and advice....and then straight up ignore that help and advice...for one reason or another (and I mean basic stuff that everyone that responds tells them... Like the atty ships with primer on it, you have to blow them out first) and continues to complain about it and then says they switched to the KR8 and it's the greatest thing since sliced bread....those people....lazy and simple minded....they are unwilling or uncapable of even doing the most basic upkeep...

I just have problems with using sub par, mediocre products...and confusing freebies with actual good customer service and reasonably priced products....I want best, optimal performance....not sure why anyone would want to continue to crawl when they see others go running and skipping by...

As for that wetbox....try out a high drain 14500 in that....you'll see a world of difference....same thing with your wall to usb adapter for the PT if it doesn't have an output of 2000mA then it's likely underpowered and not putting out what it could (should)

I am using the HD 14500's on my wetbox and the high mA usb adapter :)

IIRC I saw a thread where the eGO, Elegant and a couple of other fat batts were tested with a multimeter and the Elegant actually put out a true 3.7...the others didn't. Might have been on the review forums.

My remaining V4L cartos (cool carts) don't make a batt connection on my Elegant and the hole on the bottom of them is too small for the wetbox feeder needle....so I have turbos from V9 on the way. The only other thing I have from V4L is my manual PT which is still working very well. The rest of my beginner KR8 batts and PT came from Litecig, the Elegant from Cigeasy.

No matter what you start with there is a learning curve. You figure out as you go what you need, what works for your individual tastes for flavor, vapor, TH, etc. I personally want flavor and vapor...I don't like the cat clawing at my throat hit.

Everyone I have talked to about e-cig I have sent to these forums and not to any particular vendor, including my Dr. :) Intelligent people will educate themselves and make their own choices...and mistakes to learn from.

Peace!!

yeah there have been conflicting reports on the voltage that's true... however, people still make the mistake that you can just put the DMM on a battery and hit the button and that's the voltage they put out....they don't put an appropriate load on the battery and see the voltage sag (because well most people don't have a testing rig set up for that)... but I've also seen a few posts where it was tested under load to be 3.2 ish Volts...

as for the turbos...not sure I'd have too much hope for them....from what I've read the cool carts and the turbos are both boge cartos...so they're likely going to be the same...dunno there might be some slight differences due to QC and the specific company carrying them... there is a chart somewhere that lists all the boge cartos and who's carrying them and what the differences are from company to company...but indications are that the turbos, cool carts, and kr808d-1 megas from nhaler are all boge and the same
I have heard of people reaming them out just a bit with something like an extremely pointy ice pick or something since it's just a thin piece of aluminum that just needs the hole opened a bit for that guage of needle..

Regarding the KR808; it got me off smoking AND nicotine. Simple as that. I haven't had a bad batt yet and I've bought new and used ones totaling well over 15 and put my Cool Carts through the paces. They're little work horses!

Now that we're not vaping very much and just do it when we're out around other smokers, we're looking into a Little Sister. Not because we didn't love our KR808's but because this is a small mod that we can throw into the smallest purse and my husband and I can each use it at the voltage we like.

I don't know what the vapor problems are that people have with the KR808's. I now mix my own juice at 0nic because it's less costly and tailor made to my liking. And I get a TON of vapor with my XL batts.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I have all but quit the whole thing, and it's 3 months today, yay! As for V4L, well, they have my thanks because that's who helped me get to this point.

Oh and I'm not simple or lazy. My shoe hobby will always take precedence over the vaping hobby, so that's where my time and money go! ;)

Yup I just did a search on the testing and see that it was not mentioned that it was under load. It was said to have a 4.x reading after the second charging and I am SURE that was without load lol. If I still worked the nuke plants I could test it myself...I worked I&C and Metrology (measure and test equipment)

I remember seeing that carto list too, I should have bookmarked it. At any rate, I've been happy with my Elegant but I don't like the gold label flip top cartos I got from Cigeasy. First thing I did was pop the hard plastic off and put on a soft cap but the vapor is cold. I don't like a hot lip draw but this one is just not warm at all even tho there is vapor. I use an 80/20 juice mostly.

Thank you! I'm a fan of the CC's because I actually hate warm vapor but hubby wants warm vapor at 5V, so the mod I mentioned can accommodate us both.

Your avatar makes me happy for some reason!

To everyone in here, realize that we all have something in common...we chose to improve our health without the pain of withdrawal. That most of us accomplish that, with minimal fuss, using our preferred weapons of choice is the bottom line...and the only one that truly matters.

They got me off the cigs but poor/ inconsistant quality on the cartos and very inconsistant batterys and Passthroughs with the manual buttons and lack of any type of larger battery mod and high shipping costs have got me moving on to bigger and better things.

VaporNine has much better KR808 options and Nhaler better juices. Also lots of great juice box mods that kill the need for inconsistant V4Life cartos and batts. Problem with V4Life IMO is they try to offer too many flavors in the pre fill cartos instad of focusing on quality.

Hmm. Weird. My problem is just the opposite. Best carts I tried were the premium vapor 4 life. I love the way they hit and the flavor. Virginia is my favorite that touch of sweetness is perfect.
They are consistenly good.

Surprised to hear bad vibes about V4L. They have been my main supplier since October 09 - still have my original PT's (one auto, one manual) and they work fine (as well as my first auto and manual batteries). I have never had any real issues with anything that I have bought from them. Customer service has always been fantastic from my perspective. They have gone over and above on a very consistant basis. It would seem that if someone has an issue and emails customer service directly, it gets resolved more quickly vs complaining on the forums where they may or may not see the post. All in all, I have no complaints. Sorry you can't get your issues resolved.

This whole thread seems kinda funny to me. Most people have either personal or practical reasons for the solution they choose.

I'm a 510 person myself. And do not like cartomizers. But at the same time I have an Eluma kit, which I like, and use (it's basically a DSE901).

I'll probably try everything in my days as a vaporer. But the debate about "what is truly the best PV" is sorta like debating who the greatest football player was in all history. Payton? Butkis? Elway? Singletary?

Every one of those players had strong and weak points- like every PV solution.

Strange. It doesn't even seem important enough to debate.

The most important issue, from my standpoint, is are you tobacco free? THAT is the question. Whatever works. Cool. Whatever you like... cool.

These threads seem... useless. Unless they are pointing out a problem with a vendor that effects people in a real tangible way.

Is a bad carto from time to time, or cheapy carto qualified?- considering you can get all kinds of stuff, from hundreds of vendors which may or may not be better?
