Don't crave an analog, but I'm still awake and feeling a bit hostile... Normal?

Ok, update... the juice I'm at is at 24 mg. But I'm vaping A LOT less than I smoked. I'm thinking I need to go with a lower nicotine dose.

I was only at about a pack a day, but I chain smoked. I would put an analog out half way through it and re light it 15 mins later.

The current setup I have now (ego, 24mg nicotine, 50/50 pg/vg) isn't quite right. The TH is a bit too high, not enough vapor, and I only can take 2-3 draws before I'm done with the PV.

Also, I had 3 analogs today. :(

Anyway, should I go with a lower Nicotine level? and maybe go towards more VG in the juice?

I guess what I'm looking for is WAY less TH, and more.... lung hit? can it get that?

You only had 3 analogs...out of 20. You ignored 17. That's awesome.
Since you know HOW you smoked, your vaping should be similar. You're already at 24, but vaping less than you smoked. Try backing off to 18, and vape as much as you smoked.

As for the TH and vapor, reduce the PG and add more VG. VG gives you a nice mouthful of vapor, but doesn't do much in the way of TH. Remember, you're trying to associate nicotine craving with your PV, so whatever you did while smoking you should continue to do.

Felt the same way at first.. and I'm only on day 6 of no analogs (kinda) but my whole thing is I'm weak when it comes to the addiction. I'd smoke about a pack and a half a day.. sometimes 2, depending on stress. I'd wake up 30 mins before I had to be at work, in that time I'd smoke 2 analogs.. smoking isn't permitted on my work grounds, so during my 30 min lunch I'd smoke 3 in a row just to get my fix.. and then after work til I went to bed I went through the rest of a pack.

The main thing that started kicking in for me was telling myself... I'm gettin more nicotine from the PV than I am from an analog.. an analog shouldn't have more control! Then I finally got some good flavored juice.. and it was "ok this tastes good AND i'm getting more nicotine from this"... then on day 4 I broke down and had some analogs, I was way too stressed and the PV wasn't cutting it since I couldn't chain smoke it.. yet the analog tasted horrible to me after using the PV and juice. I went thru the whole pack in about 6-7 hours cause I was just that stressed and thought I was going to have a breakdown. Then I figured great now I'm gonna be hooked again, but nope day after I've stuck with the PV since. I guess it's just a whole mind over matter type thing. And getting something that tastes REALLY good so that the PV is what becomes the addiction.

Lighten up on yourself. I smoked about 3-5 'analogs a day during the first month. Three in the morning and a couple at beer thirty. I then cut out the evening ones and then slowly, as in over two months cut out the morning smoke. Got down to one a morning and then quit. I chain vaped except at work. I still do. Still vape at 12-18mg, sometimes 24-totally depends on the brand of liquid. Are you using atomizers and cartridges? Might try going with a cartomizer and amp up your vaping.

I actually chain vaped all the time when I first quit, now I have days when I do or there are days when I vape very little. One thing I recall, I over thought a lot when I quit. I try and not over think it at all now. As a newbie, one tends to get caught up with paying attention to all the differences of not smoking, vaping, physical and mental changes etc etc....it is all part of the process. If you are struggling then lay out those three smokes for the day, if goals work for you then set a day to go to two and so on. Set a reward at the end for when you totally get off the 'analogs'....for a few months I allowed myself to spend monthly on vaping the same amount (okay, many times I spent more) as I did on smokes for vaping supplies. It isn't magic, don't beat yourself up if you cannot quit over night. The reduction plan doesn't work with any other smoking cessation method that I know of but it does work with vaping so you can still win the fight, it just takes a bit longer but the end result is pretty dang good.

I don't think you need to necessarily quit from one day to the next. I was still smoking 4-5 a day the first week or so, though they tasted like crap. Gave a more immediate hit, something I was still craving. I have now been off cigarettes for 3-4 days (only started vaping 10 days ago) and not missing a thing. I am on 18mg most of the day, and 10mg when using a lot while on the computer.

Remember that cigarettes contain other ingredients as well, like MAO blockers; it is normal that you are addicted to more than just the nicotine.

For me, any cigarette smoked less than before is good, but I might still smoke a "real" one at a party... and not feel guilty. Don't go crazy, just light a real one... you will be disgusted by the taste in any case. Really. And eventually, you will have days where you plain forget to smoke.

Good luck!

First off, you are doing really well. Congrats! It sounds like you are most concerned about your anger. Well, going from 4000+ chemicals to none is a huge adjustment for your body. It's likely that you are missing the MAIO's from cigarettes.I would suggest exploring the idea of adding swedish snus or snuff (not the American dip/chew stuff). It helps a lot of people with those 'something is missing' feelings that vaping alone just doesn't provide. Check out these forums: Smokeless tobacco

Again, you are doing rather well. 3 analogs in 1 day is very, very good! Don't think of this as a pass/fail thing. It's a journey which doesn't happen over night. Don't beat yourself up for having a few analogs along the way.

Good luck!
