I actually like gotvapes and have purchased form them many times, and while I don't necessarily agree with the OP's opinion I do believe that people are entitled to their opinion's and if it bothers them enough to voice them, this forum is here for people to do just that... I understand that no business can please every one, but we all have to understand that the ones that are left "less than pleased" have the right to voice their opinions....

No apologies needed. The other other vendor is in Canada. Note I may not purchase from Gotvapes but would never bash them as they are a reputable vendor. I guess I'm from the side of being passionate about vaping and not really sympathizing with the biz aspects.

I'm sorry, I was speaking in terms of US vendors, I should have been clear. Certainly Chinese companies are getting the new stuff to market first. I think GV is more concerned with quality control than the various drop shippers, and they back it up with great customer service. I usually see US vendors carrying the new GV items after they are introduced. I'm not a fangirl, but I like the company a lot. I also really like Crystal Clear vaping, electronicstixs, and a few others.

Being new to vaping. I have wasted some money like everyone else. I have learned the hard way do your research first before buying. I also know that not all youtube reviews are the truth. In this market it seems to always be buyer beware. I personally ordered from gotvapes. I received what I ordered fast and did not have a problem with them. Will I order again? Don't know I keep changing my setup as I get into this vaping more and more. If they have what I need at a good price, I would order from them again. Even with all the newbie learning crap at first it beats smoking 2 packs a day. Just my 2 cents.

Actually, if a company cannot stand on it's own TWO FEET, that is it's products and services, without the Hype of a Marketing Campaign and general Salesmanship though the Supply Channels then more often than not they have a Poor under-performing Product.

If that was really true every company that purchased those 1 million dollar per 30 second spots during The Super Bowl would either be selling a rotten product OR be needlessly tossing away lots of money for no apparent reason on a regular basis.

It seems to me if folks have specific reasons for disliking this "Gotvapes" Company they outta air their complaints other wise all we have is a bunch of whiners posting in this thread this evening.

With the exception of a number of custom ecigs and variable voltage high level products, they all come from China. Some vendors actually have reps in China that oversee quality control. So yes, there are products that are rebranded and repackaged and given cute names that are the same as other similar or identical products from other vendors with other cute names. That's private enterprise. I don't see that any differently than a huge big box store that sells the same computer under a different name, with various options and features. It's still the same on the inside with a few changes to make it unique.

It's called marketing. We shop the products and the prices and choose the ones that suit our needs for less. Informed consumers get the best deal. Below is one way to check out the specs and learn about what is available.

For those that have no stomach for products that you may have to fiddle around with, I suggest you wait 6 months to a year for the kinks to be worked out, or stick to something tried and true like an Ego and Boge’s.

Exactly.

It's like anything else.

If you are standing in line waiting to buy the first ever "anything" you outta be prepared to deal with a few "growing pains".

When Orville and Wilbur took their first flight I bet they weren't about to complain about the in flight food they were being served.

All that being said, however, nobody beats DiscountVapers (I had to say it).

And I don't mean strictly on price (although their prices, on the whole, are tremendously good). There are things that you might find cheaper somewhere else. But not by much - and dealing with Eric makes any such difference literally invisible.

just checked shipping from both sites for both products. DiscountVapes charges $12 to ship to me and gotVapes charges $7. So the final price pretty much works out even with gotVapes maybe winning a by a few cents?

negligible really, comes down to the details I guess

I had to check where you were when I saw your shipping price. For those in the US, DV ships for (I believe) $5.50 (USPS Priority). I just want to make sure people understand that, since I plugged them.

My wife has written permission to kick me square in the nuts if I ever waste another dime on anything from Gotvapes.com. I have had nothing but bad merchandise from them.

I don't mind them hyping up new products. I don't think it is right to have paying customers do your testing for you. They always "drop bombs" that turn out to suck after they hit the market and actual users get their hands on them.

I know that a lot of people will disagree with me but I don't think I should have to "mod" anything to get it to work right. Whether its the Fluxo's or anything else, it should work right out of the box. Again, just my opinion.

And if she doesn't, I will. Besides being a newbie trap, how do you like the great CS? Complain about something and get an extremely rude reply....not a company I would deal with due to the horrible, nasty remarks by both of the owners.

Whether the op is new or not he is entitled to his opinion, just as you all are, and is not breaking any rules.

The post brought out the unknowingly fanboy/fangirls. Those people dont have a clue as to what a GOOD product is like. And yes, people are entitled to their opinions.

I get mine from Discountvapers...

CE3 - 5 Pack
Those look to be the same and $2 cheaper ($9.99 vs $11.95). I'm not sure if they carry the 808 version though (gotvapes has both).

You will find minor price discrepencies for a lot of products if you are wise and shop around. I don't worry about one or two bucks here and there if a company has good service. I think our collective anger should be more directed at the real scammers that double..tripple the price for outdated inferior products. There are MANY examples of those companies to vent against.
