Sure, but as soon as you add anything, like flavoring, to the mix, your mg/ml of nicotine will go down.

But, if that doesn't put a crimp in your vape, then have at it. There are a few mixers that work from a base and then add flavorings and the final nicotine level is not a big concern for them. (I do the same with PG/VG ratios, but not nic.)

Thank you Hoosier...i'm wanting to do it myself but also want to make it simple. :p

For first timers that want simple, I recommend that they grab some Capella's Flavor Drops. They tend to avoid 7 & 8 on my Flavoring Levels blog which makes is simplier to get a "feel" for mixing flavors.

I was wanting to DIY but i don't want to have to dilute down the nic.
I was wondering can i just get my nic in the 24 mg that i vape and the 70/30 blend
that i like and just add flavor???

Don't see any reason while you couldn't do this.

Sure, it will have Slightly less Nicotine, but chances are you won't notice it. Or if you do, your Probably won't notice it after a couple of Days.

I mixed up my PG/VG/nic where it would come out to 18mg/ml nic once I add 20% flavor.

If I vape the unflavored, it's about 22.5mg/ml. The exact nic level is fine with me so long as it's between 16mg/ml and 24mg/ml.

So, I just add whatever percentage flavor I want and done!

I might be more precise later when I'm sure of my recipe and want to mix up a big bottle. But, for experimenting, this is great!

This is exactly what I would "like" to do. I find that 18 mg strength is a little too high and have ordered some 12 ml premixed RY4 to test the nic level. What I need to know is that if I order some unflavored nic juice from Wizard Labs in a 50/50 pg/vg at 18 ml or 12 ml strength along with some flavors to test what saftey precautions do I need to take? Do I need latex gloves, do I need to do mixing in a well ventilated space, do I need eye protection etc. Again I am not thinking of doing this with 100% or high level nic juice, just premixed.

The warnings in this DYI section are pretty clear on nic juice itself, but not very clear on mixed proportions such as 12 ml or 18 ml strengths. Just asking before I even attempt DYI.

Depends on how resistant to nicotine you are. I get 18-36mg on my fingers quite often and have nothing more than slippery fingers. If I were to rub it into my eyes, they would burn, but it wouldn't hurt me any more than the burning sensation. I've even gotten juice in my mouth and it's just a tingle, but sometimes it causes hiccups. (Hiccups is one sign I need to stop intaking nicotine and increase water intake before I get a headache.) I'm fairly resistant.

A low resistant person could get tingling and warning signs of nicotine intake from finger contact of lower levels.

Thanks Hoosier,

I doubt I am sensitive to nicotine (in diluted amounts of course), as I have smoked for over 50 years, and made my own analogs for many years prior to just starting to use the ecig. I have handled raw tobacco for many years without any problems and would of course take reasonable precautions as to washing my hands and not getting it into my eyes or mouth. I don't plan to start DYI until I read a lot more in the DYI section and get some more advice.
