I'm just looking for more input from anyone who has tried the Double Flavors from DIYSmokeshack or anywhere else.
Also, if anyone has tried their DIY flavors or tabacco essences, how did those work out for you?
I've found flavors to be too mild so I'm thinking either trying double flavors or try adding a few flavor drops to what I have.

e cig smokestore or diyflavorshack double flavors are a fantastic way to save money. you just get twice the nicotine strength you normally vape and double flavor, then cut in half with vg or pg from walmart for twice the liquid for half the price.

or you could just vape the double flavor juice which is good by itself too. dawns e liquid is top notch

Myfreedomsmokes has Extra Flavoring. I use a 510 though, so I haven't noticed if the flavor is better or not. Maybe someone with a 901 can comment on their double flavors.

Is this true? I have a 510 and I need more flavor so I was thinking about trying the doubles. I don't want it in order to cut it and save money, I just want to actually be able to taste this stuff.

So since I have a 510 it wont make a difference??

I don't see how this is possible. I make my own DIY juices for my 510 and I can easily double my flavor with an extra portion of flavoring.

I'm sure the doubler would work on a 510 like the other Joye models.

There are a lot of inexpensive methods of adding/creating new flavors depending on your budget and willingness to experiment. The majority of users here use either flavor drops from companies like Capella, or 'candy oils' by Lorann oils (most Lorann flavors are not oils but are water based, people tend to stick to those.)

You can use strong commercial liquids (either 'blanks' with no flavor or flavored liquids) as a base for your mixes, but you have to keep in mind the strength of nicotine solution you need. If you use 24 milligram liquid in a ten milliliter bottle, your adding five milligrams of flavoring will cut it down to 12 milligram strength. Spreadsheets can be good for doing the math necessary to get the exact mixes you want.

So far, the only effective sweetening I've found (and I've tried honey, sugar-water and syrup in atomizers) involves adding pure sucralose liquid in small amounts (1-5 drops per/10 milliliters). It works best with actual flavorings. Used by itself, it does very little to change a liquid's flavor, probably because it lacks any olfactory component (taste is strongly influenced by the sense of smell) but it is very good in combination with other flavoring-agents.

For further information, you can search You-tube which offers several video tutorials on the subject. There is also information on juice-crafting in the Modder's section of this forum.

Hope you found this useful.

I was not getting a whole lot of flavor no matter what I did, so I got a 510 to 901 adapter at altsmoke and a 901 atomizer. The flavor is better for me now, but still not like what other people describe. I also need a flavor like Red Bull in order for the flavor to be less subtle. It could be that my taste buds are gone. I've been analog free for 3 weeks, so I don't know. It really could be just me and my taste buds. Taste is very subjective here in the forums.

My sister also tried an extra flavoring mint and she said she couldn't tell any difference too. She also has a 510, but she has been analog free for only 9 days and has smoked for 18 years.

For me? I was trying to get her 510 to work correctly and accidentally got a blast of mint down my throat. My throat immediately closed up a bit, eyes watered, etc. I am mildly allergic, so maybe I'm more sensitive to it. I couldn't believe she wasn't "tasting" it. I also don't understand why she is not getting any throat hit with 36mg nic when its like a pleasant but strong kick to the back of my throat. Different folks, different strokes. Double flavoring may work for you, it may not.
