I have been using my Dovpo E-MECH AKA the Transformers mod daily for about a month now.

And I have to tell you I am very impressed with this device and the company that makes it.
The E-MECH is a VV/VW device that is powered by 2 X 18650 batteries wired in series and it will also serve as a power bank (2.1 amps at 0.5v) that will charge your cell phone, tablets and other Li-ion powered devices with the included multi-functional power cord. This function is also short circuit protected. You can also use the E-MECH as a passthrough device while charging via the USB cord. While charging, the display is dark except for a battery charge indicator that will show you the status of the battery while it is being charged and will disappear when charging is complete. While this device will accept button top protected batteries, it is a tight fit and I do not recommend them. Flat top batteries are preferred.
It has an output voltage range of 3.0 to 6.0 volts or 3.0 to 30.0 watts in 0.5 watt increments. And it will work with coils built between 0.5 to 5.0 ohms (though I have heard that it will work with coils down to 0.3 ohms). It has the standard 10 second cut off and offers short circuit protection. The batteries can be charged via the internal charging circuit (5v current >800mAh) or removed for charging outside of the device. As an example, using 2 X 18650, 2000mAh batteries for a combined rating of 4000mAh it takes 4.25 hours to fully charge from the point when the low battery indicator starts to display its warning and stops firing your atomizer when the combined voltage of both batteries drops below 6.5 volts.
The extremely well made housing of the device is manufactured out of some type of either aluminum or aluminum alloy and the battery compartment on the back opens easily by simply moving the two latches, one on either side of the battery compartment to remove the back cover which has a pad on the inside to secure the batteries and prevent any rattles. The battery sled is well made with very nice contacts and springs and is clearly marked +/-. The combination 510/eGo connector has a very well made spring loaded center pin and is surrounded by a Stainless Steel beauty ring which is removable. All construction seems to be very precise. The exterior finish of the device is also top quality and is available in Red, Silver and Black. The finish is matt and does not show fingerprints nor does it scratch easily. Mine shows no scratches to date. The back of the device has a series of vent holes where the speaker used to be in the previous version as well as a small section of mirror that displays the company logo while the power button is depressed. The base of the unit is now wider and flatter than the previous models and you can now stand it on end safely even with a standard 4 to 5ml RBA tank attached. While the housing has a very distinctive shape it is surprisingly comfortable to hold.

The display itself is a high resolution OLED screen and is easy to read even in direct sunlight. The display clearly shows your remaining battery charge as a graph just like many cell phones, the resistance of your coil which is constantly monitored, your voltage or wattage setting, the number of puffs you have taken as well as the date (year, month and day) as well as the day of the week as it has a perpetual calendar built in. Also the correct time displayed in military or 24 hour clock. This appears to be very accurate and only needs to be reset if you remove the batteries to charge externally or change them out for a fresh pair. The display goes dark about 10 seconds after the power button has been released to conserve power and the device activates and immediately sends power to your coil when the power button is depressed unlike some mods that need to "wake up" after the device has been inactive for awhile. To the right of the voltage or wattage setting display is a small icon that tells you if the control is locked or unlocked. As a bonus feature, there is a small LED flashlight set beside the beauty ring. It is quite bright and it can actually come in very handy.

The menu system is very easy to use. You simply press the power button 3 times to access the menu and use the + and the - buttons to navigate the system. Here is a link to the details on the Dovpo company website.

The power button itself is of high quality and is slightly recessed to prevent accidental activation and performs perfectly and silently with no rattle or play. The + and - buttons are touch sensitive and the key word here is very sensitive indeed. Hence the locking feature which I recommend that you use once you have your settings where you want them. To lock or unlock the device, simply press the power button once for the display to come on, then press the + and the - button at the same time to unlock. Once that is done, you can increase or decrease your power settings. Reverse the process to lock again. The display need to be active before you can make changes. Pressing the power button 3 times will take you to the menu.
The unit itself comes in an attractive storage box complete with a well written and easy to read instruction manual, charging cord and power bank cord suitable for charging many different devices. It also comes with the Autobot and Decepticon decals for the owner to attach to the unit if desired to change it to the Transformers style.
I have seen these sell online for as low as $67 and in Brick and Mortars for as much as $130. I have seen the warranty being anywhere from 30 to 90 days.
To summarize, this is a very well thought out and well built APV. At the top setting of 30 watts, it does indeed deliver a very, very warm/hot vapor but without any burning taste on my builds at least. And with dual 18650 batteries powering the device, most vapers can use it for at least a full day (if not two) without worrying about having to swap out the batteries. Just plug it in and let it charge as you sleep.
I highly recommend this device!
