FedEx is really irritating at times.

At least at my local FedEx distribution, if a package isn't scheduled to be delivered until the following day, they won't put it on the truck until that day. Frustrating, I saw my Carbon Dual sitting there and not loaded on the truck since it's scheduled for tomorrow.

At least with USPS and UPS, they deliver ASAP, not holding packages for the delivery date. Guess mine will be here tomorrow.
Yes that has happened to me before too. You will have your new device tomorrow though.

The white Carbon I ordered arrived yesterday. VERY pleased with the purchase.

I still like my OG Topside Duals, but they look cheap/inexpensive in comparison. The Carbon finish is really nice, they did a great job on it. Has a textured feel/appearance to it and feels good in the hand. I expect the finish will be durable and wear well. The matching fire button is a very nice touch.

The chip is obviously a YiHi if you are familiar with YiHi chipsets, but it has differences. I'm guessing these differences were programmed for the Topside specifically. The button click/feel is more 'basic' from a tactile perspective than my SL Class, etc. It feels more high end on the SL Class. Not sure how to explain it, but the button feel is different than other YiHi devices I'm familiar with.

Still wish it would have had a dna 250c in it, but overall, I still like it more than the Drone.

The Drone needed aftermarket o-rings to help with leaking, the squonk door flexes when you press the bottle, it scratches easily, and it's a PITA to fill compared to the Topside.

They are both very nice mods, but if I had this in hand a few months back, I probably would have passed on the Drone and gotten a second one of the Carbon.

What is the weight difference compared to the drone like ?
David
I just weighed both of them (NO BATTERIES):

Drone 250c - 185.2gm
Topside Carbon - 224.4gm

So looks like the Topside Carbon is about 40gm heavier. My Topside Dual and OG are packed in the vape closet or I would have gotten weights on them as well.

The weight isn't a big deal to me, it's a dual battery mod, so I expect it to be a bit heavy. Not sure how much the previous Drone weighed in at, but I'll bet it was close to the Topside Carbon.

The Carbon really is a nice mod. Very happy with it. The finish seems to be very durable.

That's why everyone was waiting on the new Drone because the weight was cut down from the original.

It's funny because on Fastech the Carbon is actually quoted as being 30g HEAVIER than the OG dual, which is the exact OPPOSITE of what you'd expect from something marketed as "Carbon".

Why idea how much longer the Dual would really last vs a standard Topside with a Samsumg 40T in it? I vape around 50 watts or so. Should I just get the single?

You wouldn't necessarily see a longer runtime as the batteries are in series. Dual may run longer but it would be hardly noticeable. I went with the dual because that extra battery relieves some stress at higher watts. I'm currently running a .12Ω build at 80w and the amps are around 27-28. A single battery would get pretty warm with my chain-vaping.
