@madstabber, so far there's no mention of an updated Topside. Only Dual, which is a bit of a shame.

Brian did state that this is only planned for the Dual and that there are no plans for a Single topside Carbon at the moment. He also said that if people make enough noise about it, Dovpo may well sit up and take notice. I think they want to see how the dual goes before they commit to anything.

Yea that works for me, with the price I’m likely going to have to pay for it, I’ll be more comfortable using it solely as an at home only mod. Usually my out & about mod is the Eleaf Pico S with the Ello Vate tank. It’s small and light but holds 6.5 ml’s of juice and because I won it I don’t worry about drops. I only run squonkers with RDAs and a couple of drop-in coil tanks just in case I don’t feel like a rewick/rebuild.
I’ve heard of thread drift but I just pulled a post drift and have lost track of what the hell im talking about and the point I was going to make. Saw some pics of the Topside Dual Carbon on the TVC FB page, which are posted below (the screen grab didn't get the poster name for 2 of the pics -- those were posted by Brian Herb). Didn't see any details or discussion regarding the board or features.
It is pretty, but I really want to know what the chipset is. If it's a cheap low end chip might as well just stick with the regular dual.
It's a Yihi chip, specially developed just for the topside i believe. Has joystick delete, running a three button setup instead s this is what brian requested as he's not a fan of joysticks. Unsure on connectivity details such as Bluetooth (one of yihi's key features on their other chips) but yes it's definately a premium yihi chip

Been watching for details on the Yihi Topside thinking I would likely be in for one @ $150ish but a fiver on Country House to place has netted a $141 windfall.
So now, barring some craptastic low end board, I will definitely be in for one.

I sure love topside dual. Its high quality and work like a charm. Ive take it to work and everywhere, dropped it many times and still look like new without a scratch. Easy to use, bf and fire speed and accuracy is superb.
I wonder what the new version will offer. New colors/carbon material and maybe better chip if you need TC? It wouldnt make it vape any better so its cleatly not for me. I love my red one with black drop rda. But if you need tc it should be better as og dual tc is said to be very mediocore. The only weakness but the vast majority dont use tc or tc coils anyway

I enjoy my topside 90 . I will wait for a while to see some reviews on the updated version. I do not own any yihi mods,I prefer DNA . My 90 works very well in TC mode so I think I will stay with that.
I'll just stick with the standard Topside Duals, never had any luck with YhI based mods, everyone of them has failed within a year. Including the following M Class first returned with paint issues, second failed just out of warranty. Vsticking, board failed again just out of warranty. so no, i'll certainly not be buying the carbon.
I still don't really order from them because of the failure of the age verification to work for me.Topside Carbon is in stock at Element Vape. Ordered mine.

VaporDNA now has them as well. Code COMEBACK10 will knock off 10%. I have a white one in my cart staring at me. On the fence as to a purchase.

I'm going to get the white as well. I really like the blue too, but I've already got a few of the 'standard' Topside Dual, so going to limit myself to one of these. Think it's going to be white.

Saw them there when I was looking for a couple of other things from them. Bought the other two, passed on the Dual Carbon (my 3 Topsides is all I want... am not interested in either of the dual versions).
I like YiHi chipsets, and the mod looks better than I expected with the carbon finish. That's really the reason I wanted this, the 'standard' Topside and Topside Duals are great as is though.
If they had used a DNA 250c in this, I would have picked up more than one.
Still haven't tried my Drone, even though the o-rings I ordered for the 510 came in. I've kind of been in simple MTL mode since I got back from vacation and have been using the SimpleEx and Squeeze OG for that. Guess it's time to go back to my Recurve/DTL and fire up the Drone and the new Topside soon.

FedEx is really irritating at times.
At least at my local FedEx distribution, if a package isn't scheduled to be delivered until the following day, they won't put it on the truck until that day. Frustrating, I saw my Carbon Dual sitting there and not loaded on the truck since it's scheduled for tomorrow.
At least with USPS and UPS, they deliver ASAP, not holding packages for the delivery date. Guess mine will be here tomorrow.
