Dr. Phillips looked less than enthused, hearing her lies and being cut off with no moderation, from the newscaster! I would have liked to see a discussion go on a bit longer.

I don't know who Dr. Mona is, but as far as I'm concerned she does not have any credibility after watching that video. It would be nice to see these so called doctors back up their statements with actual evidence. Just because they make a statement does not make the statement true.

I generally only watch Comedy Central and my many subscription channels (HBO, Showtime, etc...). Everything else is pretty much garbage anymore.

On a more serious note, I really do question the theory that Americans are getting "dumber". I do believe that we, as a nation, have become far too complacent and comfortable, and that can be somewhat equated to the "Fat, happy, and stupid" situation. Beyond that, I believe that there is a segment of the population who are just willfully ignorant, and they don't want to be bothered with the issue(s) of the day. Finally, I don't know that the number of truly stupid people is increasing, but there certainly is a lot more attention on these people that started with shows like Jerry Springer.

Of course, this is just a theory I've been working on...
