Now that I've added a bit of sweetener to my mix, and a couple strawberries as well, just because they go good with dragonfruit and greatly lowered the percentage of the milk, I've got something going on now I think. I'll let it steep for a few days and see how everything comes together but the first couple hits which I couldn't resist, seems ok. The milky aspect is there at .5%. I've decided that more than that is just plain gross. I vaped a good bit and clouded up my room. Left the room to stow away my mixing supplies and wash up, and when I came back in here, I was hit in the face with a wonderous aroma that I couldn't quite define but smelled really nice. So I'm hoping a good steep gets everything tasting as good as it already smells. And I'm certain it will. Once I get it all the way I like it and vape a fair amount, I might even let everyone in on the secret recipe lol. Dragon's milk. I know it's not an original name and I'm gonna work on that too...

Most creamy flavors need a steep (might get better) I'm very curious (am somewhat strawberry "blind") which strawberry flavors did you use?
That's why I tend more towards dark berry flavors. I also seem to like "jammy" fruit flavors (like actual jam or pie filling) Don't really like apple but like apple pie. I freaking love orange marmalade and also boysenberry preserves. Honestly, many fruit flavors need at least two (or even three) to work for me. It's called "trinities"... one is richer, more realistic, one is floral and one is more candy (or if you don't want it so sweet, something tart) @FranC is very good at doing the less sweet recipes (and I do like that) Flavors like Bilberry, Acai and even Rhubarb. If you like it sweeter, there are many other choices (that don't have to be the exact flavor you want... Dragonfruit is a good example) Consider other sweet flavors (that are not too creamy and easy to add without changing the overall flavor much) like Marshmallow or Meringue. I say "there are no rules" (like with real foods) but most people here think I'm nuts ;)

I look forward to hearing more about it after it steeps. I really like a good dragonfruit flavor.

Patience is something I'm kinda short of sometimes and im vaping a tank full of this. I made slightly more than a test batch, 50ml. Day 2, it tastes like dragonfruit and the milk is settling in fairly well. Still doesn't have the milky mouthfeel and probably wont until I get my next order of flavors in. Got a cream, a marshmallow and a meringue on order. Gonna use one of these as an enhancer to add to the milk. It's a work in progress to be sure. But I'm liking where it's going so far. And I like that I challenged myself like this too, some of my other mixes were easy and great right from the shake. This one isnt one of those lol.

So there is an actual milk flavoring in there? I don't think I am familiar with any milk flavored concentrates. I figured you just put some cream or something in it. Either way, I bet it is a good one.

It's funny, I have been doing the DIY thing for almost two months and I still haven't made anything more than 10ml of any recipe at a time. Even the ones I know I like already. Of course, a main reason for that is all I have right now are 10ml bottles to put it in.

I like sweeter juices but not candy sweet. That, to me, gets old quick. I've got marshmallow, meringue and a fresh cream on order that I'm gonna tweak with. The dragonfruit right now at 24hrs is very present and the two strawberries are laying in there with the honeysuckle to round it out. Cant tell you the brands I got as I'm not looking at them but a strawberry juicy and a ripe strawberry. For some odd reason, mixed with dragonfruit translates to dragonfruit. I'm making this ungodly sounding mix just because I'm tired of the same ol same ol. And for the challenge.

Yeah, condensed milk. I went low at .5% with it. My first batch I used too much and it wasn't really all that nice.

Well it is probably good to mix it up every now and then anyway. That way you can avoid that vapor's tongue where you get too used to a flavor. Plus, it's fun to experiment and try new combinations of flavors.

The milk part has settled down now and doesn't impart much flavor as it does the smooth milky effect that I was going for. All in all I'd call it good. 36 hrs since I mixed it and I think it's as good as it will get. Tastes like a piece of dragonfruit with a smooth silky finish. I'm not done with it though. It still needs a little something something to make it fabulous. The final version will be just what I wanted. And I'm close now.

Glad you are making progress. I might have to get some of that condensed milk flavor in my next order just to try it out for myself.
