I've dropped my Xhaler several times before with no problems, other than a ding or two. No big deal, right?

However, last night I dropped it about a foot off the ground. I didn't think anything of it until I later realized that the black cap is STUCK at a slight angle. It landed cap first onto my hard floor. It's not budging one bit. I of course had the cap loose to get 6 volts when it was dropped, otherwise this wouldn't have happened.

Drew, or if this happened to anyone else, is there ANY way to get this cap off without destroying it? I will eventually need to apply more noalox and clean the switch, so in the meantime it's just fine.

I really don't want to destroy the cap seeing as how it's my only one, so please, ECF, help me! Thanks for any advice anyone can bring my way. I love my Xhaler and am gonna be more careful with it from here on out.

Sorry about the poor picture, but you can see how it's not screwed in evenly, thus being stuck.

    Somewhere between here and there
Hopefully Drew will see this and help but I would guess that you will have to resort to removing the cap with a pair of pliers and see if drew will send you a new one. The cap threads should be softer than the body threads so I would bet that the body is fine but you will most likely have to force the cap out.

I would say carefully use a pair of pliers to thread it off and let me know if it comes off in one piece or what...It shoudlnt damage the threads on the unit , and I should be able to just send you a new cap...Let us know...

Awesome, I will do that. I appreciate the quick response. I'll report back!
