Well I've left full cartos uncapped for over a moth before and they were still full. At least the amount of juice loss was not discernable to my eyes.

Now mold/bacteria: if you are using a juice that is higher than 30% PG you don't need to worry about it. PG is a well recognised anti-fungal and also is anti-microbial. However, VG doesn't share these same properties so I'm not sure about a VG based juice.

Cartos will dry out...how long it takes I don't know! But when you take a drag if it tastes dry..add some liquid right away to avoid a burned taste.

E-liquid can go bad..but I really think it takes a lot time. I have liquid from over a year ago that I wasn't crazy about, I tried it again (because tastes change) and it's fine. But I still don't care for it!

Every few refills (about 4 ) I rinse out my cartos with hot running water and shake them dry. I have used cartos and carts over and over, I have yet to see mold. P.G. deters mold growth btw.

Most people don't reuse cartos as much as I do, they just never seem to die around here. But if it worries you, set a time period for use and then discard after x number of refills.

I've got some cartos that I've used for the last 9-10 months. In fact, I've only ever had 2 cartos actually die on me.

I've got a couple of flavors I put into some cartos and didn't like them, so I capped them and put them in my case for just in case I like them later. Every month or so I'll pull some of these out and take a puff and realize why I didn't like them in the first place. But, they still vape and haven't dried out yet. I have a cuban cigar one that has been filled for 8 months or so and still has juice in it.

I don't use them all everyday, but I don't see any problems with mold. The amount of heat required to vaporize the liquids, as well as the PG base of the liquids, should prevent any kind of problems with bacteria/mold growth.

Of course, if it makes you feel uncomfortable vaping something which you suspect might have a change to promote bacteria/mold growth, you could always just switch to a brand new carto every day. It's not quite as cost effective, but you have to determine what exactly is your cost/comfort ratio.
