I have been vaping for about six weeks now and I am really enjoying it. Have not had a cig since and have no desire for one. I have progressed from the standard ego battery to a provari. I know fast but I have always moved through things fast, of course after doing much research. I tend to be a tech geek.
I am now going through a phase trying to find juices I like I would like to try the drip method as I am burning through cartomizers and clearos. I find with the clearos some of the juices tend to mix. Yuck. So now I am looking for a drip atomizer to try our juices but I have no idea where to start. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

Hi I too have given up for 60 days & like you quickly progressed to a provari mini and a dingo. I like small mods the 18350 size so I wanted a small dripper to go with them. I prefer dripping for the flavour to change juices. For the dingo I got an Igo L and for the Provari a Fatty V2. I love them both. There are youtube videos to show you how to set them up. The only disadvantages are driving long journeys and if you overfill the juice floods out the air hole. Apart from that I prefer them to cartos and tanks.

It's pretty simple. Nab an atomizer like one of these. A drip tip like this. Put atomizer on, drip a couple of drops in, pop on cap, vape. :)

Tons of places have them. I'm using VV as an example because I buy from them a lot and have the site bookmarked (and they are a good vendor) and, ironically enough, was using exactly those to sample some new juices as I saw your post. (Sad to say, the Key Lime is a disappointment).

If you have a shop nearby, you could drop by and nab what you need. Shouldn't cost much. And, yes, it's a good way to sample and you can switch flavors quickly.

I am just about to start dripping myself since its a good way to test juices and I am getting going with DIY.

I bought a plain old 510 atty and an Octopus Rebuildable. Waiting for them in the mail.

The Octopus is a good, solid, inexpensive atty. There are a couple of decent youtube vids to help get you started.

When I found it I was actually looking for the Pheonix I had seen PBusardo rebuild on a video. The Octopus was much less money and the coil setup really didnt look any harder to do so I took a chance. Mine was only $8 so at that price it wasn't much worse than a throw away type.

I am glad to know I stumbled into something decent. :)

Im just like you bud, 4 weeks into vaping and already spend a fortune on this habit, cos im a quick learner and keep looking for the next best thing to what i got :)

I just got into rebuildable drippers, and now i cant say im gona go back to anything else i have, the flavour, vapour volume and TH are the best ive had so far.

I started with the vision eternity, which is a really cool piece of kit. people seem to love it or hate it, but its a great multi function piece of kit and works great as a dripper. and it looks awesome.

from what i hear and have read tho, one of the best rebuildable drippers to start off with is the igo-L or the igo-s (just the smaller verson that fits go batteries better.

i have the igo-s on order, as the igo-L wouldnt have looked right on my itaste VV which is what i use most days out and about. but if you have a prover i would get the IGO-L.

Hi there, I don't know if a rebuildable dripper is an easy and relaxing start. On the other hand I would go for a cisco 306 lr to get used with the idea. If that works for you then u can upgrade, as already written, to an igo l or a vision. I personally use the dripper by Leo, I consider it as one of the best dripping atomizers. Generally I prefer atomizers with ceramic inside, helps a lot the flavour...

Seems he has been Into vaping long enough now to get into rebuildables. They are super easy and quick to clean for switching between flavours which is one of the reasons he wants to start dripping.

I agree with just using cheap, disposable 510 atties and even 510 carts will work when you pull the stuffing out of them. This is what my local B&M store does to let customers "sample" new juices and it works well. Buy them in a 5 pack and/or look for sales and you can usually find them for under $2 each.

That said I love my RDAs.

I have a handful of very cheap Phoenix clones that I bought from Reosmods (currently out of stock). Out of the box the coils aren't usually optimal and they have a tighter draw than I generally prefer but they don't leak as much as some other RDAs, hold at least 10 drops (when dry), and are small enough for "stealth vaping". All metal construction means they are safe for the "plastic eater" juices out there too.

I also have an A7 that was more expensive (under $20) that is better made and easier to recoil. It draws air from the center of the atty, below the wick, and provides probably the best flavor out of all of my devices. About 10 drops.

I just bought an Igo-L. VERY well constructed, a large platform for thicker or dual wick/coils (if you like) and a pretty good bargain for around $14. I drilled the air hole out from 1mm to 1/16th inch (1.56mm) and it vapes like a volcano. I do think it is funny that they made it like 21mm in diameter instead of a standard 22mm so it looks just a *tiny* bit too small on top of a Vamo or the like. Other than that, a very good RDA.

My "go to" (vaping it right now!) is a Smok RDA "Octopus". About $8 if you shop around. This is my favorite dripper by far. Out of the box I found the o-rings too loose and the wicks too long (gives dry hits even though there is still juice in the wicks). I replaced the o-rings (a bit of dental floss under the stock o-rings works too), busted off the tip of a toothpick in the air hole under the wick, to help prevent leaks, and drilled a new 1/16th airhole in the last groove near the top, which is easy to do since the cap is made of aluminum, not steel. Some easy improvements can make this good RDA *great*! Fairly large platform for thicker wicks/coils AND it has both holes in the posts for securing wire as well as knurled thumb screws for tightening, both things that I *wish* the IGO-L had. If they start offering these in a polished stainless steel I'll buy five or six more.

A friend of mine beat me to the punch and picked up an AGI before I did. We finally got an SS wick rolled for it and it works as well as either of my AGA-T2s do now. In dripper mode, without the tank, it's EXCELLENT. Extremely well built with a huge platform to work on. Just a bit spendy just for dripping at around $40.

Probably more than anyone wanted to read about my opinions on drippers but hey, there you go ;)
