Drip tip loose in Vivi Nova

I have a real loose drip tip in my Vivi Nova. Is there an easy fix for this? It's so loose it'll fall out if I turn it over.

Also what is the purpose of a removable drip tip in Vivi Nova's? Anyone ever glue the tip in?

Drip tips don't always fit the same in every device. You can add another or bigger o-ring.

I went to home depot and got the #47 o-rings in the plumbing dept. Had to try a bunch to find the right one. I remove the one on it and use them if it's loose. Only about 3.00 for pack of 10 if I remember correctly.

I have learned that drip tips aren't all exactly the same size. My fix was to just buy a bunch of cheap tips.

In a pinch you can wrap the base of the tip with white silicone plumber's tape. It doesn't last forever but it's easy to get a perfect fit.

You can also use dental floss. Tie it around the drip tip where the current o-ring is. Sewing thread wrapped 2 times will also work.

I took the o ring off and wrapped some thread tape in its slot then put the o ring back on. Had to force the tip back into the Vivi Nova but its staying in now.
