I have learned a lot on here since I joining but I haven't seen much discussion on drip tips. What kinds do you all think are the best? All I am familiar with is stainless steel but I know there are a lot out there. What are the pros and cons of the different kinds out there?

All personal preference really. As far as materials there are stainless steel, titanium, delrin, teflon, glass, etc. Each material has a different "feel" and carries heat differently. When choosing a drip tip you want one that will best compliment the device you are using it on. Cloudchasers and drippers usually want wide bore where if you are just using a small tank like a nautilus mini you really don't need a wide bore. There are also drip tips coming out with adjustable airflow and other bells and whistles, not sure how much of a better vape these more complicated designs can give you but they are out there.

My favorite so far is a wide bore delrin drip tip because they don't get hot and imo look really good in either white or black.

My local vape shop is going to start carrying drip tips made out of stone that are lined with stainless steel. Um yeah

Is this the one your talking about?

Delrin CMDT Drip Tip - Black - 101 Vape

Would I need to get the Delrin Drip Tip connector?

I am trying to find a new drip tip that is good for my dripper. I want to get the most out of it.

As long as your dripper uses the standard 510 connection (its slightly larger than 8.5mm).

Edit: WOAH. Im not trying to sell any here!!!! Its the album i use on reddit to sell them! I changed the name of the imgur link lol

Iv really taken to glass or glass hybrid on my drippers, they stay cool enough to vape, whereas stainless, or any metal really, simply gets too hot to put in my mouth.

But on my tanks that run below 30W or so, stainless, brass, or aluminum. Aluminum does dissipate heat quicker then the other metals so I have a few of those for tanks running 30W+.

So I guess what I`m trying to say is that beyond style, once you get to a certain temperature, material starts to matter a little more than you might think.

:?)

I'm partial to Molehill Mountain Art Drip Tips. Love the burls but the acrylic ones are nice as well..They are an ECF Supplier and have a thread here:

My newest is a Indonesian Rosewood / Amboyna Burl 1 & 3/4 inch tall with a 4mm draw hole.

Your vape looks amazing too. Now I know something else I am going to have to add to me collection at some point. lol

@ salemgold
That looks great. I might end up getting that. They I may shop around and see if there is someplace I can get that particular one cheaper.

I'm surprised there aren't more threads on here as well. You can join me on my sick experiment....I ordered roughly 25 various tips on Fast tech recently. Took forever, but they showed up. The bad news, I ended up hating most of them. But, it was dirt cheap- maybe 35 bucks?

So I did another round, and am still waiting. I figure for around 50 bucks, I've gotten a buffet of different types that I couldn't otherwise try out. And since this is a pretty crucial part of our hobby's experience, it's worth it for me. The mark up is just too high to take a chance on most US sites or stores; since I'm obviously picky. It's fun though, and I've been giving them out like candy to my friends.

I can't stand metal in my mouth, so I've been trying out everything outside of that realm. I also realized that wide is really damn wide in most cases. So I'm trying to find some standard size good ones. Best of luck sir.

MHMDT does custom tips as well..I would at least try one of the short woods for around $25. They just feel good on the lips. Much better than SS or plastic imho.
Max draw hole is 4mm.
