Well, I was feeling frogy and was thinking about ordering a Chalice tonight, no love! Discontinued at fasttech and sold out at Bestgear. Only other places I'm not at all familiar with so I'm a bit iffy with them.
Oh, well, we'll see how the Velocity mini works and go from there.
If you can afford the $$$ for an OG, A Chalice v3 can be had from the classies here:

I ordered something from them ages ago without issue but, am I losing my mind? Now says sold out at 3fvape. Did I not notice that before?

focalecig has them. Chinese company but, if order with PayPal you should be pretty protected within the allotted timeframe.

I'm starting to think it just wasn't meant to be! They are now sold out at focalecig now! I'll come across one some day. Maybe the Velocity mini is what's meant to be anyway?

One tool every tinkerer vaper should have is a dremel. Every bottom feeder tinkerer,a dremel and a drill press.

FDV should sell a wider range of BF pin sizes. They are priced well though.

Agreed.

Something that works Very Well if one has a Dremel with a Grinding Wheel and a Drill is to chuck on the Head of the 510 Pin so that the 510 Pin threads are exposed. Then to spin the Drill at a Medium Low RPM while turning the Dremel at Medium RMP. Applying very little pressure with the Dremel. Just letting the Grinding Wheel to do the work.

Once the 510 Pin Threads are ground down to the Desired length, you can Flip the pin around and Chuck on the Threads with just the Head of the 510 Pin being exposed. Once Again, you don't need a lot of Pressure with the Dremel. Just let the Grinding Wheel RMP do the Work.

This Tech make it Easy to get a Flat 510 Pin Head with a Very Nice Finish. Just be sure to do the Thread Length 1st. If you do the Head of the 510 1st, you will have Very Little to chuck onto when you turn it around to do the threads.

NOTE: Safety Glasses are MANDITORY when doing this type of Work.

The Velocity Mini works very well! After having it on my box for the last few days,I think my quest for flavor/vapor production is over! :)

Cool!

How is the Air Flow? I have heard that it is hard to do a Single Coil Set-up in it do to too much Air Flow. Have you tried a Single Coil?

If so how did you like it?

Not mine. Lol

DIY triangle to RM2's cost me less than $10 each plus about an hour of my time. Too bad they are discontinued. That one was cut down for the drip well of a Reo Grand, but not necessary in this case.

Note however the bottle. I just did this and it appears to work, but time will tell if it has any problems. Took a Vapage bottle and reduced the height of the top to equal the stock Dripbox bottle and sanded off the threads.

It was a tight fit on the slide bottle cap in the Dripbox and I had to hold it and turn the bottle while pushing hard to get it to go on. Hoping that it will loosen up a little after awhile with the slide cap inserted.

Just to clarify for me, those are the VMod xl bottles from Vapage, correct?
Do you have to sand off all the threads, or do you think you could leave 1-2 of them on so the cap would still work?
Just asking stupid questions to learn. I still love mine, but would like to have more bottles for it just in case, and a clear bottle is very appealing come refill time! Then being able to have another bottle, full, that you could put a cap on and seal up, would be very nice IMO!
Thanks in advance.
Been kicking around buying another one of these silly things for a back up, like I need another back up to the other ten (or more) mods I have, but it sounds good, doesn't it?
Got my NET juice from HHV today, Dark horse, I wont be ordering this again! I like me a tobacco juice, but this is too much for even me! I loaded up the Dripbox with it and put the hammer away! This was a sledge hammer to the face of tobacco! Got some Dragon's Fire on the way now, I hope, I hope!

Where did you order it from? I got one from Fastech and for some reason it didn't come with a BF pin. Its depressing because I bought it just to squonk
Angelcigs. They take quite awhile to ship but it looks like it delivered today. I'll check it out when I get off work.

Yes, that should be them. The threads were in the way of the bottle recessing up into the mod.

I haven't tried a single coil yet! The air flow can be as loose,or tight as you want it. I sometimes use the 510 adapter to help ramp up the flavor. One thing I have noticed is it feeds juice much better than the Kanger BFRDA.

Thank rks1949.

I have a Mini in the Cart. Just been kinda waiting to get More thoughts on Single Coil Mode.

Side Note: I got recently got a Hobo v3.0 and a Hobo v3.1. They Both work Very Well in Single Coil Mode.

But the way the v3.0 RBA Barrel works with the Deck and Air Flow/Top Cap is a PITA.

I have this on order for my Dripbox
4684202-1.jpg

$8.07 Velocity V2 Styled RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - stainless steel / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

They come in Black, White or Silver for only $8.07
The positive pin has a grub screw inside of it that you just unscrew to make it bottom feed.
It looks like the pin sticks up a little from the deck, if it is trouble, I will dremel it flush.
The Glass part may be a little wider and might overhang. The trade off is seeing your coils and squonked juice. Also, glass is supposed to taste cleaner.
I'll let you know when it gets here.

So how do you get along with drippers that have deep juicewells?
For me personally they are a bit of an pita.
Since you don't really do much with juicewells they are mostly an hinderance making squonking take more time than it should.
Also starting to have a dislike with "velocity style posts", can't I have one with two posts with big enough holes?
Mostly for these reasons lovin the Subdrip more and more.

After havin my Dripbox for 20 days it has become my only device, leaving around 1000$ worth of gear to rust.
It is THAT good and can't really complain about anything, but dark bottles that aren't that long lasting.
Waiting impatiently for Kanger to bring more products to this line, a better atty is much wanted.
Also, beign a bit twisted that I am, started to wonder how nice a 18350-version of the kit would be.
