(Dripping) - do 901 cartomizers work on 808 batteries?

Howdy!

I've read a few things that indicate that a 901 atomizer can work on an 808 battery. Has anyone tried this -- does it work?

I don't intend to drip all the time, but would like to try new flavours this way before wasting a cartomizer on them, just in case it's no good.

I have already ordered an eGo kit, but would be cool to be able to use my many 808 batteries too.

901 atty will work on an 808 battery.
An Ego is, I believe, a 510 which will not work without an adapter.

Make sure you use only a manual battery for dripping. They do not have the center hole that liquid can go into and ruin the battery.

Yes, I do it all the time...If u want to get a 901 atty cheap, get them from value vapor... they have them for lower prices than I've seen anywhere else, and they ship the same day to me. They are genuine SLB too. They have good reviews scattered here on the ECF as well. Good luck.

I bought a 901 atty just to drip and try out juices without having to fill 808 Cartos with something I didn't care for. Works like a champ. I have a 5v manual 808 passthrough , and it makes tons of vapor with a 901 Atty

This is a great idea. I love my 808, especially with a fat batt and the PT option. But I hate having to devote a carto to every goofy juice combo I try. I ordered a couple of high-voltage bridgeless 901 attys to try out juices on the PT.

I have read postings and watched videos on dripping & atomizers, and there doesn't seem to be a consensus on cleaning the atty between flavors. Do you blow it, boil it, use alcohol, coke? Is the procedure different for a 901 vs. 510?

I personally use high proof vodka in a syringe (without a needle). Squirt it a few times and let dry overnight.
Some flavors will "stick" they're not coming out no matter what you do, but mostly, it works.

Just got a couple of 5v debridged 901 attys for dripping on my PT from FSUSA with my latest juice order. As a noob who has only used cartos up this point, all I can say is WOW! Great vapor, taste, and TH. I seriously vaped myself dizzy. I'm thinking I will have to dilute my 24mg juices when using this method. Seems to be a harder hit than the same juice in cartos.

I'll try the 91% iso cleaning tonight. I'll get some hi-proof vodka and try that as well.

Do you need to order 901 cartridges as well? Or just the 901 attomizer?
