If you plan to run an LR atty, then it should be 2.5amps or higher, since it's drawing more power than a regular atty.

This is why stock batteries can fail, even if they have high mAh like an eGo, when you run LR's. They're being over-drawn for the amount of amperage they are designed to output at one time, which I believe is only 1 or 1.5 amps.

And, not all batteries used in mods are 2.5 amps or higher either. I know some of the 10440's aren't.

I've been reading about it on the ECF tutorial about batteries, since I managed to kill my eGo with an LR. Linkie:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/129569-rechargeable-batteries.html

Lots of good info.

I would bet what you really killed was the switch because of the heat a LR will generate, the eGo's and Elegant and other PV's in that line were not set up to handle it if you are using it for heavey vaping. I like mechanical switches they don't really go bad

I was worried about killing my battery with one, so I went with the "P" method. P is for plenty lol. Got 6 batteries and two chargers on standby. But I have not managed to kill a battery yet(knocks on pc of plywood).

STILL USING THE SAME BATTERIES FOR OVER A YEAR??????!!!! thats awesome. How many hours you getting out of a battery? You using LR?

You should get a solid 10 hours using LR atty's with your SD no problem

With my newer batteries, 10 hours easily. With the older ones, they will still produce vapor right up til they run out of power. As a guesstimate, I'd say 5 or 6 hours. Not bad considering this was my all day vape for the better part of a year huh?

Blue and brown sharpie permanent marker caps make a great button cover as well lol. Looks a bit silly, but it makes pulling out of your pocket, pulling off the cap and taking a drag, then replacing the button cover a one handed operation. I have no idea why yellow and black sharpie caps won't fit. The blue and brown ones fit in there like it was made for it though.

With the one they give you it's a little flick of your little finger and the cap is off and you are on the button, when you attach it using the set up it just hangs there till you replace it, works great

Lost mine at a party. Dropped it in the grass, was going to look for it, but I wasn't in good form lol. And they have a dog that uses that area for head calls. Wrote it off as a loss.

I knew I would lose mine that is why I used the cord they gave me and it's always there

I'm pretty sure more than a few dentists spent a long time trying to figure out why they were getting so many people coming in and asking for colored orthodontic rubber bands.

It's because we use them to flavor mark cartos and carts. :D

Let's not forget the pet stores that must be wondering why Fluval is flying off the shelves all of a sudden. We stuff carts with it.

Yeah. We're a little obsessed.
