The trick to not suck bead when using a standard sized battery is to move the big oblong bead up a bit from the neck of the lanyard. You will likely need to shift the other beads up a bit first in order to move the big bead.

Once you do that the normal batteries work fine as the beads will drop away when you hold it up to your mouth. You can even use the shorties but you come close to sucking on leather with those.

much <3 for lanyard :)

I dropped my battery while clearing the table after Christmas Dinner. When I picked it up the darn thing had a constant dim glow. It wouldn't fire up... it just glowed. I tried plugging it into my PCC where it blinked constantly... three blinks... three blinks... three blinks... I tried my normal charger and it still wouldn't stop glowing.

As luck would have it, I came upon this thread as I was pouting. I read the whole thing but had to laugh when I read dicedealer007's recommendation to try dropping it a couple more times. And then it occurred to me... what have I got to lose? So I picked up my battery, walked into the bathroom (hard floor) and started dropping my battery.

First, second, and third drop... nothing. Fourth drop.... AND it was back to working normally! No glow! It was perfect all night and is still going strong this morning.

Thank you dicedealer007! It worked!

:)

Only try this is as a last resort and you are truly ready to discard the battery!

:)
