Yeah I'm glad my stabwood died under warranty before I dropped it. It is headed back to its seller with a refund, not warranty.

I buy my mods with the expectation of scuffing them up, but I pretty much have to. Otherwise I would LOSE my mind.

Sorry about your drop. My best mods usually show no damage actually but my mid range mods can get a bit scuffed.

Sure I could put them all in protective sleeves but I don't always like the feel of that.

Lost Vape Drone BF DNA250C is a nightmare to own in some respects, due to the top plate on the mod being made from plastic.

Metal RDA vs plastic, not good. Plastic loses, you have to use something between the RDA and the mod to prevent scratching it up. 0.1mm PTFE sheet is cheap and works a treat.

I understand the feeling. Even if no one else can easily notice the damage, YOU know it's there.

In general, I try to buy bulletproof mods and tanks. I'm rough on things and my fiance is a clutz.

I'm using a polished silver Provari and a Kabuki tank with the stainless steel insert (no glass).

She's using a Kroma-a mod with a Zenith tank and it's damned near indestructible as well.
Zapped ol buddy!! Where you been slumming? Haven't seen you in these parts in ages. ;)

Still using a Provari, I see. Those things are built like tanks. :thumb:

Dents, dings, chips, and scrapes don't bother me much.

I have had a couple mods take a dive. Only one was bad, the other times it ended in nothing more than a little cosmetic flaw.

The bad one was when my son knocked my VA Spade off of my pool deck and the door shattered into three pieces. I repaired the original door (really hard to tell it was repaired unless you know exactly what to look for) and ordered a couple of spares just in case. The original door now is a matte finish (this particular door looks better that way imo, I did polish it back to normal but ended up bringing it back to matte). It was kind of a blessing in disguise. I didn't care for the original door as much as I thought I would when I bought it, so now I have two new doors that I like much better.

Living in NY, and having nice cars you sometimes have to park on the street breaks you of feeling any big deal about a scratch (dings are upsetting).

If you really want to feel upset, imagine how Tracy Morgan felt when he got into a fender bender 2 hours after leaving the dealership with his brand new Bugatti. It's all about perspective. ;)
