The other day my husband informed me his mouth is tore up from chewing. He chews American long cut dip, and not snus. He tried my e cig and liked it. Which is great cause he is cool with me getting some better equipment now. I am really curious and excited to see how this is going to work. I plan on getting him some high nicotine juice. He is the most picky person I know. What are some good cigar flavors out there? What about cigar look alike pv's? Thanks.

Well you can get cohiba I got some early on. I was a cigar smoker. I no longer use tobacco flavored juice. I have a friend who dips and he likes the vapor but he has yet to switch. Snus is an alternative don't know much about it. Suppose to be better than chewing or dip tobacco. I never dipped or chewed. My brother use to dip, chew and smoke sometimes 2 at a time. He quit Cold turkey but is now at like 300 pounds and is only 5' 9".
If you get him to try the tobacco you may want to slip in other flavors he might like as that is how I got to not wanting to go back to the stinkies. But if he does not want to do it then your sunk because all you can do is offer. Can't force it. I know I've tried. That will turn them off real quick.

Well he has the extra 150 pounds to prove it. I like my method better so does my heart. Yea a good tub like the Lava, Provari etc will do the trick. Here is what a provari with a Vivi nova looks like. But you don't have to spend that kind of money to get a good APV.

Hey Rose - I have a flavor suggestion RY4. It was one of the first flavors I could actually stand to vape - until my taste buds healed anyway. then it tasted like wet pipe tobacco :)
Another suggestion is dk tab. It has a nutty flavor and is the only one by bf could vape for a while. Its a good start on flavors anyway.
I like Steve's suggestion to offer a variety of flavors too. I recall how quickly my taste buds changed those first few weeks and it did not seem like anything tasted good for very long.
Thank goodness that part does not last forever.

Awesome for you, and not a moment too soon. I work with a guy who's quite younger than me (he's in his early twenties and I'm 33), and he's been dipping for about 8 years. One day he came to work, pale and white like he'd seen a ghost. Come to find out, the doctors found something in his bottom lip and gum area. It was giving him severe pain and was an open wound that wouldn't heal. He was told it could be just an infection and needed draining, or it could be a cancerous tumor. Needless to say, he was scared poopless. Thankfully it was just an infection caused by the open wound and his use of dipping tobacco. But it scared him enough to quit dipping and really try this vape thing. Could you imagine being in your twenties and losing a chunk of your jaw and lips because of dipping?

Oh almost forgot. Attraction to it works best. If you can attract by example that seems to work the best. That is how I got started. A friend had been using it for a good while so I finally had to try it.

What Steve said. I was a pack a day smoker for 15 years, but when I saw our local old-timer (who smoked for thirty years) successfully switch to a vape, I knew I had to try it, too. And thus began my vaping journey...

Posts like these are what make me even more fortunate/happy that I switched to vaping. I smoked for about 15 years, and right before my 30th got into vaping. As each year went by it became harder to ignore that it is more a question of when, rather than if, that I would begin to have obvious health issues, rather then anything going on in the background I may not be aware of now. Hope vaping is working for him.

Same here, LongDraw. In my twenties I partied hard and smoked a ton of cigarettes, went clubbing and could dance all night. Now, I get winded walking up stairs. Me, jog at a brisk pace? My breathing was difficult at night, and I could literally feel the tightness in my chest. If I did anything to exert myself my heart would pound in my chest.

Since I started vaping almost 4 months ago, I honestly feel a difference in my lung capacity and my general all-around health. You're right, LongDraw, it's not a matter of if, but when.

Glad we found these here vapes, and just in the nick of time!

Giving up Dip was the hardest thing I ever did and only managed it by taking up smoking. I rodeo'ed for 7 years and everone dipped back then.

A manly kind of mod that would appeal to him might depend on his hobbies. I love fishing and having a mod that is basically a custom rod seat appealed to me, Lewis Gentry makes them. If he is a car guy a Saber Touch powder coated to match his car might do it. A gun guy would have to love something like the Revolver Mod like mine from Motor City Modz.

The new Bombshell Stinger from Hot Vapes is a manly mod...black and uses a 26650 battery for long vape times even with a Kick. Add a BoB Marley tank for that rasta look...

And of course Phiniac tanks has a great selection of tanks for guys...like my Reaper tank... Suggestion for Him Tank Designs - Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks

Oh - my- God!!! That is some manly stuff!!! He would dig the gun thing in fact I am going to show that to him. He is smoking a few cigarettes. Gonna get him set up on pay day for vaping. Absintheur I hear you about quitting. When I started chewing I thought it was going to be easy to quit. Thought I would be to ashamed, and then really took to it. I recall about 2 months after starting running out for 24 hours. Wow I had been through some tough stuff but wow it was bad. Last year a couple months after turning 31 I spent some time in the hospital thanks to chewing tobacco. All of you that say it's not a matter of if but when you are right. Watching family member after family member get taken from this crap is awful. Living through it my self. Year after year of getting pneumonia hacking up blood and smoking in between. Disgusting.
