I've dropped my SB and 2xAA box mod many times while drunk. The SB just has a few chips. I also wear cargo pants 98% of the time and keep my e-cigs in the knee pocket so they're constantly getting banged into stuff. I did break a few of the plastic drip tips because of that, they're junk anyways though.

I started out on 808Xls and I put those guys thru he** and not a prob one. I've dropped them and sent them rolling. I stick them anywhere and everywhere - let them roll around in my purse (by accident) and still work. When I'm on the road - even tho I use a MOD now - they are still my road trippin device. I've dropped almost every PV I've owned (808, riva, egos, buzz pro) and they all took the beating. I just got a provari - have not dropped that yet and will have a freakin heart attack...lol. I do travel with it, but I keep it protected. It's probably a mind&*%# due to my investment and probably why I continue to beat my other stuff up :D. 808s are still awesome for this reason.

I've dropped my ego-t, ego vv, provari a couple of times or more each when i forgot they are in my hands. No damages, still working fine. Once i dropped a CE2 type carto and it went dead. No cracks or anything, it simply refused to fire up again.

I give extra attention now to prevent dropping of any pv parts. The thud sound they make can be quite scary.

Fullmetal (sir or Ms.?) have dropped my kr808's countless times without issue. Only dropped my provari once, but no issue there either. Running them over with a car, completely different story.

Whew...glad to hear and good to know about experiences on the Provari, but gotta say it's :D and  at the same time. I am sure the thud sends a heart racing....

808s...the "takes a lickin and keeps on tickin" PV of the ecig world..lol
