howdy again ya'll

I decided to go ahead and order a Halo liquid sampler and in my excitement on getting my new flavors I decided to clean my CE4, perusing the forum and a couple youtube videos I decided to try and dry burn my coil. Everything went fine, filled my tank with Tribeca and started puffing away... I was underwhelmed to say the least... ok, maybe I just don't like that liquid, so I rinsed my tank out and filled it with Kringle's Curse (the flavor I was looking most forward to based on reviews) and while it didn't taste bad, I hardly got any flavor at all. According to the description it should be a potent peppermint I got almost nothing :(

Tried it again this morning and while it's a little better still not much flavor at all. My question is... did I ruin the wick dry burning it? I don't taste burnt, but it also don't taste much at all. Or, was my expectations for this e-liquid too high, is it more subtle than the Tsunami liquids I'd tried before? I mean this has less flavor than a menthol Blu disposable.

As always any comments are most appreciated!

Thanks Vapoor eyes, I think you're right I didn't dry the wicks. I've been vaping after I posted and the flavor is starting to come through now, it's much improved.

You're welcome TDs&Beer. Did you remove the silicon cap before washing and dry burning? Also after dry burning rinse the head in warm water.

yeah I popped out the silicon, and rinsed it well after the burn, but like you said I neglected to dry the wicks. Live and learn :)

Well you're off and vaping and it's all good
Realize you can also buy Peppermint or menthol drops separately and add to your fave juice. Be aware they are powerful.

Think I'll look into those drops ... I do like a sinus clearing menthol/mint kick heh

I also really enjoy menthol. You can also buy Menthol crystals and add to plain PG to make your own menthol drops- very inexpensive. PG/ USP buy cheaply at the pharmacy. Have never had a problem BUT if they ask it's for making non allergenic soap or candles. I paid $10 for enuff crystals to last the next 5+ years
