I've found that drinking alcohol tends to prevent vapors tongue from forming. Maybe it's just me, but I actually put it to the test a few nights ago. I was drinking water all day and chain vaping a new flavor mix to test before steeping, took the tank to the bar while we played pool, grabbed a beer (Red Fox - Dark Lager with deep red / caramel color). The chain vaping sort of "numbed" my tongue and the beer cleared it up after just a few sips.

I can't say it'll work for everyone, but when you chain vape, vapers tongue is bound to happen at some point. Especially if you vape the same flavor for any extended period of time.

I had the same symptoms my first 10 days or so. It got really bad. My throat was killing me.

As stated in the link above I believe it was partially from regrowth and healing from analogs. And even more importantly I discovered I have sensitivity to PG. I switched to higher VG levels when I suspected that was the problem but didn't feel immediate relief.

It wasnt until much later that Impicked up a carto that I had laying around that was high PG that the discomfort returned immediately.

That's how I confirmed that I am sensitive to PG. I now stick to no less than 50% VG and seem to be fine.

Andrew I admire you....I vape to feel like I'm smoking so I don't know how you have managed not to inhale, but hey well done!

Ok so I'm assuming Preloader, that this took some time. I'm trying different levels of PG but it can take 2-3 weeks for suppies to arrive in OZ and then I need to vape them.
So...Ill try using only higher vg liquids for a while and hope that helps co z right now it gets to the point where even the vaping tastes bad coz my throat feels tacky and dry. Thanks for the advice. :)
Oh and tactical....As I'm a non drinker I'd better not try your method, or knowing me it will become my new addiction lol

I experienced the dry throat at first and so did my son. It is highly important to stay hydrated for many reasons so I always have a drink with me although I have to admit I'm not a water person. This was explained to me as the PG creates the throat hit and the VG creates the vapor. So I turned to a juice site that allows me to customize for what I like. I turned down the PG and order my juice with 30PG/70VG or even 40PG/60VG. You just have to remember the VG is thick so the more you have the thicker it is and some clearomizers (if that's what you use) don't handle the thickness as well so in playing with that aspect of it you might have to play with what you are using to vape.

Today I even do 50/50 (what most shops mix) and do no have any issues with dry throat. It gets interesting playing around and trying the several different types of clearomizers and tanks. I personally love the Ismoka tank and Kanger ProTank 2 is my 2nd fav :)

So what exactly are the symptoms of being allergic to higher PG levels. Is it just the uncomfortable catch in the throat, is anyone immune to this coz I assumed it was just part of vaping. The higher VG has definitely helped but I can't go too high coz I love my plastic clearomisers!
Is there such a thing as a glass clearomiser or do I have to get a tank??
