Hi,
My first e-cig, that I bought out of curiosity, just ended its life after serving a whole two weeks.
It was filthy cheap, only $10 so it wasn't a financial loss but it kept me away from analogs!
Today I ordered an other model: RN4081, these two look much alike but I hope that 4081 isn't such a POS as 097 appeared to be.
Anyone had a pleasure testing both of these models?
DETAILS:
Took my 097 apart and found that the problem was in the battery, small vacuum-switch was missing some bits.
I just wanted to cry when I saw the insides and all the "cold solders", loose wires and a total lack of any insulation between battery terminals and surrounding metal parts.
I have never seen such a crappy soldering in my life.
I have seen better soldering in those cheapo bug-zappers that look like a tennis racquet.
Yes, I have taken apart a few gadgets.
Actually I think it's a wonder that the lithium cell hadn't exploded yet...
