Hi ALL,

For those of you guys, or gals that have had your cartridge slip out easily, I have found a quick fix.

The problem is that the atomizer is a little too wide and the cartridge is just a little bit too small. Also, liquid seeps into the two while you inhale which makes it slippery and easy to come off.

What you need:

1 lighter

1 Sewing Needle

All you have to do is heat up the tip of the needle until it is red hot and quickly melt (a little) onto the part of the cart that connects to the atomizer.

I do it vertically on 4 sides. Try your best to make it evenly spaced but it doesn't matter too much. The point is to make 4 ridges. After you do that, the cart should snap in pretty tight and fit very snug.

I hope this helps because I have had the cart fly off on me many times, luckily on my carpet or else it would have been pretty bad.

Good Luck and I hope this info helps my fellow e-ciggers :thumb:

yes in the beginning I have used tape, but a couple days later, found it the most annoying thing to remove the tape residue, arrrggghh.

Thank you all, and I will always offer my ideas and tips.

We all are a community and I wish the help in anyway that I can

Thanks,

Harry

Thank you for the great tip. This is a much better idea than tape, which others have suggested and used previously. Cheers.

One more tip for my fellow e-ciggers,

When doing the needle trick. Every week or so you will have to do it again unfortunately because I just had to redo the ridges on my cart.

I guess this is because the metal slowly thins out the ridges and makes the fit loose again.

But this I dea will work over and over again.

So as long as you have the tools you will be able to fix it.

Good Luck All

Hello all, I just wanted to bump this thread because I believe that there are many people that can still benefit from this tip on making the carts fit better,
I am sorry if I have violated any rules on bumping theads but I felt that this is important.

If possible may I request this to to become a "sticky"

Thanks my fellow Vapors!!

Thanks, Harry. I read this months ago (when I didn't need it), and now that I do have loose fitting carts, had to search to find it again. I agree that this needs to become a sticky because at one time or another, lots of folks are gonna need this info.

haha Thanks a lot because I was going to re-bump and resurrect this to the new peeps, I believe that this really should be a sticky as even the newly redesigned DSE-901's with the manual button still have this SAME EXACT FLAW.

they did a good job on redesigning the 901 for sure with the new atomizer that makes less leaks through the hole when you over drip which I always do because I get greedy and want more vapor, lol

And also the Gasket they now have in their battery's which is similar to the 510..

I don't know I keep noticing similarities in the 901 and the 510, that the 510 is A very much IMPROVED VERSION of the 901 only that it is made by a different company.

Also remember the SLB Stamps people to know that your DSE-901's are actually the DSE's

Take care peeps and happy Vaping!!!

Harry
