Does anyone know if you can use any 14500 3.7v battery with the 905?Reason I ask is the 14500 that came with the kit says something like "special lithium battery", or something along those line, it's not here with me now so i cant read what it says. But i have one dead battery.

Not sure what "special" means, but you should be able to use any 14500 batt. Make sure it is protected. By dead I assume you tried to recharge it and it wouldn't. If that is the case, and it is still new, I would get a replacement from the vendor. But 14500 batts are pretty cheap. Usually around $4 each. They should last about 300 recharges though. I have 4 or them for my Bartleby, and always carry a couple extra in my book bag.

Good luck!

Kurt is exactly right, of course. I've successfully used two different brands of 14500's in my DSE905: no name (made by D.K.L. Battery), which came with it, and Trustfire. I look forward to trying the top-of-the-line AW.

BTW, the new low-resistance 801 atty (with adapter) on the DSE905 ist wunderbar!
