I bought the DSE601 pipe in China one week ago. This website dse-ecigarette.com. Do you know if this fail can be the sensor mechanism?

Sounds like vacuum operated switch or your draw(inhale) is too weak to keep the switch on. I have not had any 601 with a timed cutoff. You can find a lot of info at the model specific sub forum - DSE 601 *Pipe* - E-Cigarette Forum
If you do a little searching on the forum, you will find info on installing a manual switch in the 601 and even a little on rebuilding the atomizer for later on.

Yup, there's the problem I have with ordering from China. Unless you make a huge order to offset the shipping, you won't save much. Then if you have to pay postage for a warranty return, it actually ends up costing more than buying from a local supplier. When you order from the China suppliers, make sure to read the warranty and returns policy. Some of them will at least reimburse you for the return postage if you have to send it back. Take care and good luck.

It could be the battery. Just because charger shows it is fully charged does not mean it's not dead. When li-ion cells go out of old age or if there has been a manufacturing problem they charge to 4.2 volts but voltage will drop as soon as one tries to pull juice out of it. If you did get a bad set of batteries from them then it is likely the entire batch was faulty. Anyway, what you probably want to do is contact them and ask them to test if they are having same problems with their kits/atomizers they have in stock.

I don't think it should drop below 2.7 volts ever since most e-cigs have overdischarge protection. I suppose if the batteries are protected(have a little disc on negative pole) then the chip might be turning the battery off completelly because it goes below 2.7v. If voltage goes below say 3.7v with fully charged battery and the led lights up then the battery is probably dead.

Absolutely. A bad battery or protection circuit could indeed be causing it to cut off. Good thought Jigtg.

Thank you, again.
I'll try with new batteries. I hope to fix this fault.

Did you fix it?

I ask because i've just bought 4 dse601 atomizers from dse-ecigarette.com. One of them burned out after using it for about 3hrs. They have now promised to send me a new one for free. Their prices are very fine, and if service also ok, then i'm ging to buy from them in the future.

It was only $6 in postage for returning the damaged atomizer to China.
