The other day I received a nice package from Litecig USA. In it, a brand spanking new dse901b. This is my first experience with this model, and I can say I'm very impressed.
For $39.95 you get:

Pack of Cartridges

I also got a pack of virginia, camel, and oriental cartridges, and a spare atomizer.
As far as I know, you can't really beat the price. You definitely get a good value with this package. Fast shipping as well, even with my town's notoriously slow post office.
Packaging and Appearance:
The box looks similar to all the other in basic design..magnetic flap box. It stands out though...its gold metallic with something like a crackle glass like design. Upon opening it I was very surprised to find something a little out of the ordinary...it comes with a small cigarette pack carrying case that holds two batteries, an atomizer and five spare carts. Nice! I don't think it will last too horribly long, its made out of paper, but the foam insert comes out and will fit an empty cigarette pack with ease. I've used it for a few days now and it seems to be holding up alot better than I thought it would though. As far as the unit itself goes, the finish is excellent, a rich glossy black. No mechanical defects...it seems this kit is machined extremely well. The finish appears very durable. The charger is pretty standard...what you would expect. Very pleased with these aspects.
10/10 for the surprise of the carrying case, and the quality of everything in the package.
Vapor Performance:
As I stated before, I haven't had the pleasure of using a 901 before, and after acquiring one, I can see what all the fuss is about. This thing ROCKS. Plain and simple. Copious amounts of vapor, and its nice and smooth. The draw is excellent. Light, but not too light. This is the closest in my e-smoking experience to a real cigarette. The unit itself is a featherweight compared to my Janty Yentl. It weighs so little I was pretty skeptical when I unboxed it, so when I took the first drag I thought I'd really give it a good one...it gave me a good one...I was seeing stars for a bit.
Very awesome. I can't complain at all here, as far as vapor goes its right at the top of the scale. It rivals my Janty easily. Very easily. For a third of the price. I would say it even beats it...I havent touched the yentl since I got this. If you are on the fence about trying ecigs out...get one of these you will not regret it.

Battery Performance:
After an initial charge of 12 or more hours I have seemed to get about 8 hours use out of both of the batteries. Mind that this isn't continual hardcore use, as I do still smoke real cigs...so your use time will vary from mine. During the usage time I didn't experience any performance problems. No stutters, no weak draws. They activate the atomizer fast, no problems. Nice steady power the whole time. No complaints here at all.

Cartridges:
Another pretty good experience here. I liked all the flavors, but the oriental was fairly bland compared to the others. Like a generic tobacco flavor. I really enjoyed the virginia flavor. It starts off with a very nutty hazlenut or almost pecan flavor and a hint of sweetness, and finishes with a nice smoothe tobacco style flavor. I'm a fan for sure. Camel was nice, but I'm not as big a fan as the virginia. It has a hint of sweetness to it to, and a nice tobacco flavor that stays strong the whole way through. The oriental though...just seems a little mediocre to me. It isn't terrible tasting, but nothing great. The cartridge life is excellent as well. They last quite a long time, comparing here to my Janty again...which eats about 400 carts a day. The 901 carts also refill easily and work very well when you do so. I also dripped the atomizer and it performed spot on in that manner as well.
8.5/10 for flavor 10/10 on performance/usage life/refillability
