dual 18650 mod

So I was bored and taking a break and figured I would share my progress on this mod I am making.

Dual 18650 AW IMR 2000 mah
OKR-T/6-W12-C High efficiency 6A, 30W switching converter
low voltage cut off with zeener diode
10 amp high current toggles
5 amp metal momentary

The holes in the case are for the ultrviolet led inside to emit light to show it is firing.

I still need the last few paint coats on the back door with clearcoat. I am doing 6 coats paint with 6 clearcoat. I also have a waterslide decal to put on the back door that is going to say kenetix, might do one for the front too.

The meter is going to be covered with vinyl. It will also display vaping voltage and current left in batteries with each cell seperate. The battery box comes with a canvas pouch that will fit on your belt too so it is easy to carry. I actually have a ton of these parts and going to make 2, I might sell one

This is more or less a combination of mamu's denali and zack with a few other tidbits I have seen. So thanks for the ideas mamu!

You could use the 3100mAh AW cells instead of the 2000mAh ones. The drain limit on the 3100mAh cells is 6A so that gives you a max battery output of 44W, (6A x 7.4V), more than the regulator would ever allow. Also, the 3100mAh cells are safer since they have a protection PCB plus a built-in PTC device. So, you get a safer box with 50% more charge capacity. I'm actually thinking about doing a booster mod with that particular enclosure using two of the 3100mAh cells in parallel.

I changed the color.

Clearcoated case (ohhh nice and shiney) the small hole on the right is for the pot to be mounted on the inside and adjusted with a screw driver

zeener diode connected to the OKR-T/6-W12-C (extra under current protection)

10 amp high current switches

510 connector with well

all the wiring to be fit in once it is all dry, the humidity has been really bad here lately and takes forever to dry between coats

The paint has like 6 coats on it and I am working on the 6 clears for it.

I have a really nice canvas belt pouch for it so it can be carried easily.

This is V1 and will be sold (at some point) as I have new ideas for V2 being built now.

I put the pot in the small hole on the right I was going to use a thumbwheel pot but thought about voltage changing while in pocket etc

It takes about 3 weeks to make them with getting the cases from china and I don't keep a ton of stuff on hand. I did however just get in 4 more okr t6 and okr t10 converters in a few days ago.
