Dual coil cartomizers seem to be all the rage lately but there is some confusion on how they actually work.
A dual coil carto consists of two coils of the same resistance. They are wired in parallel so the total resistance is half the resistance of either coil. For example: The total resistance of the 2ohm dual coil is 2ohms. Both coils are actually 4ohms individually, together they are 2ohms.
I as well as lots of other vapers always thought that if the coil is 2ohms you have to double that to find the real resistance, but thats not the case due to the parallel wiring. Just thought id share this for the people who are confused about getting a DC tank
