Dumb question about LR atty or normal Atty's

If you can change the voltage, does it defeat the purpose of having a LR atty? I just placed an order and bought a few normal 510's and a few LR 510'a just in case, but am a bit confused. Can a vet help a noob out?

Pretty much. A LR attie was designed to give you the heat of HV on a standard 3.7 V battery. Most will do a quick pop on higher voltage and go to attie Heaven.

You can use a LR on a ProVari, just crank the voltage down to 3.7 or less depending on the atties ohm rating.

That's what I'm talking about...like many, I have everything from 1.5ohm to 3.0ohm stuff sitting around...
Can't wait to use it all on one device!!!

Same here. I kept a lot of different atomizers and cartomiozers around just to keep the variety up and aid in power matching to my different devices. Now, I only use the ProVari and have noticed my cartomizers are actually lasting longer by simply tuning the voltage to an optimal level.

I use attys and cartos ranging from 1.5-4.9 ohms... They all work great on my ProVari
