depends on what youre willing to spend. I'm a fan of sigelei products, personally. I have the Zmax v3 and the 100w plus. I've kept both of them with me during work, and my hands dont exactly stay clean. Lol. If you're not looking for huge wattages or sub-ohming, I'd say the zmax is a good one to look at. Throw an iclear 30s on there and you've got a pretty durable setup, imo.

On my garage workbench I have a coffee mug that I sit in.
I thought my mug was big, where do I get one that size?

No one going to say provari? Depends what you are doing and do you have slippy hands and/or drop things? Dirty hands shouldn't be a problem, but if they are even a little slippy I would go for a box not a tube.

I'm a believer in spending money once and getting quality durable items so anything under $200. Would rather have a mod that last a looong time then save a few pennies and get a cheapy that will break.

Take a look at the Reo Grand LP Rob the owner is a supplier on here.. solid block of aluminum and a RDA or cartomizer if you dont wanna build ..easy peasy reliable set up..

Thanks for all the suggestions. The "1 button" mods seem like a pain to adjust. The main objective is to not bum a cig off my buddy so I need to have at least 30w and ease of use to enjoy vaping and stay away from smoking.

Oh yea, how do these mods hold up to the cold weather? Battery drain, bad for screen?

Yes, the MVP 20W has a larger internal battery and the older MVP2 is proven sturdy to me. On my garage workbench I have a coffee mug that I sit in. Helps to keep it from falling over on to the cement floor. I have dropped it and it has survived, but I don't push it.

The 20w has the same battery as the mvp 2. A cloupor dna 30 device is good.

I'm gonna have to second the MVP2, as you can find it for $33 dollars right now. Has usb passthrough for the cig lighter with an adapter, and if you have decent sized hands everything can be done with one hand. Switch has some heft to it, too much for some people. Be careful about over-tightening buy some little rubber plugs for the usb & micro-usb at the bottom. Try to get the silver or blue finish, the others are very slick in your hands.

The only thing I don't really know is water resistance & real grime and such, and since you're a trucker it's well-known you'll be digging lots of shallow graves for hitchhikers & hookers. If it were I, I'd want something reasonsably solid & capable yet I wouldn't start crying if I dropped it and it rolled from the cab seat onto the ground, etc.

My 100w rides with me everywhere. I work outside year round. Mines been exposed to -10 so far this year at the coldest. Held up fine. Also has three buttons. fire button and + and - buttons for wattage adjustment.

I'd give a recommendation for the E-LVT 2, I've never used one personally, but seen plenty of reviews. Nobody really has anything negative to say on it, other than the looks (which I agree, what a strange-looking device).

It's shock-resistant, water-resistant, and there are videos of people running it over w/ a car and then picking it up and having a vape. It's definitely durable. Also, look at this list of features (it's freakin' long):

1. Using a zinc alloy with a silicone rubber coating process for the first time in the electronic cigarette industry.
2. Dust-proof, water resistant,IPX1(protection rating)
3. Rechargeable
4.Power bank for digital devices.
5.Emergency flashlight
6.Replaceable 18650 battery(Not Included)
7.Display the battery voltage
8.Display the current output power(Volts or Watts)
9.Variable wattage from 7w to 30w
10.Compatible with 510 threaded devices
11.Removable connector, so you can easily remove the atomizer.
12.Static current switch ,guarantees no loss of power
13.Function lock(To avoid accidentally changing the settings)
14.Over limit vaping alarm.
15.Short-circuit protection.
16.Battery polarity protection.
17.Battery LED status Indicator
18.Overcharge protection/over-discharge protection
19.Hidden exhaust hole ,to ensure the safety of product if battery failure occurs.
20.Cool appearance, fits perfectly in your hand!
21.Equipped with professional Allen key making battery replacement easy.

Imo, the mvp2 is rather limiting. If you want something that you can use as you get more experience and start building your own coils and whatnot, you're going to need more power. I've built coils that had to be run at 60w to get the best vape. The one I'm using right now has to be at 40w. Limiting yourself to 20 or 30w is fine if you're going to stay away from sub-ohming or doing your own builds, but imo, you'll quickly outgrow it.
