Hello Gang,

Thought I would start a new thread to answer questions about our DIY WTA and other WTA products we carry which also include DVAP WTA, and our Sub Ohm WTA. Please feel free to post your questions here and I will try to answer them as soon as possible. What others call WTA might not be even close to what we call WTA. We worked with DVAP the developer of WTA when we first brought WTA to market back in 2010. DVAP laid out specific guidelines to what WTA should look and taste like, along with the experiences to vaping WTA.

Can you comment on the difference in taste & experience, other than pg/vg ratio, between unflavored wta and the dvap wta?

For over six years I have been successful using just nicotine (unflavored the last few years) and have even quit vaping for a few weeks at a time. Lately it has been a struggle, I find myself using the vape way too often and seriously considering wta. Taste is a consideration but at this point the wta experience is more important. I'm hesitant to order both so looking for some input.

Thank you for starting this thread and bringing WTA back to the top of the overall threads. A lot of the newer members of ECF are not aware that this is something that can truly help them when nicotine alone is not enough. Some members were having discussions in a DIY thread about WTA and since you can't come to us........

Kudos

:)

I hope someone can come by and give their honest assessment on the difference between our Unflavored WTA and the DVAP WTA. What I can say is that we use a very select tobacco blend for the our DVAP WTA, as well as our DIY Unflavored blend.

Hi Sugar and Spice,

Thanks for your post. Kick back and stay awhile. If I can't answer your questions maybe someone else can. If there is anything I can do to help please ask.

Take care,
Jerry

I asked on another thread and I will ask again here, though. Is there a different amount of WTA in your wholesale 24 and 36 nic blends, and if so how much?

I'm also interested if you guys do comparisons with other WTA vendors out there and whether you all have differing proprietary processes.... As I've tried some less expensive WTA that I was exceedingly unhappy with, vs a third company that was the least expensive of all, but I was VERY happy with the results.

It's hard for me to genuinely compare though, because I used Aroma's WTA during the throes of cigarette detox. So, it's hard for me to truly compare without doing a blind vape test....

Would you ever consider putting "amount" of alkaloids in some fashion on the label, not just nicotine strengths, and is it accurate that the lower the nicotine the lower the number of alkaloids? I just think some standardization might be an interesting thought, kind of like nicotine levels and potency, where it's labelled, and if WTA makers have ever thought of doing the same?

Thanks,

Anna

This is strictly my opinion but my thought is that the minor alkaloids make up a certain percentage of the total alkaloids in tobacco so if the nicotine content is higher then I would think that the minor alkaloid content would be higher.

I again have it the other way round.....Aromas WTA is a constant %, and the nicotine is added extra. I also have it that different mixes has different % of WTA...
BUT its all just guesswork on my part !

Another supplier however says their wta and nicotine is in relation to each other...more nic equals more wta.
I'm soooo glad you started this thread Jerry. Plz can we have your input on this?
    Thank you.

    No. Cal.
Great conversation and opportunities to share and learn. For me, WTA is what “scratched my itch” and luckily I found it a few months into vaping and I continue to use it mixed w flavored elquids. ( I’m down to 9 mg so I thin it out..a dab of 24 w a few dabs of 6). Many have found it helpful to use solo. I’ve only used it solo when comparing different types of WTA Aroma. In my opinion, Dvap’s WTA is lighter and smoother in taste but none of Aromas WTA are harsh. I did try another brand years ago, and had to throw it away because it tasted like...hmmmm....chemicals? Yuck...

Well that is very interesting to know. Thanks for that. It certainly clears some of my confusion...
So from that I assume that in the manufacturing process of WTA, no free base nicotine is added? Each nicotine strength wta has its own process?

I suspect WTA is extracted pure then diluted just like freebase nicotine, only it contains the minor alkaloids also.

If I remember correctly, nicotine makes up about 95% of the alkaloids in tobacco. The other 5% are the minor alkaloids and are not in regular nic liquid. It’s that other 5% that we are after.

I'm working on putting an order together but ran into a problem...
I love your Tobacco road. Last time I could only get it in 6mg. This time round it only comes in 24mg. I'm a 12mg. I like the idea of 24 (it has more wta) but i'll have to thin it down, or it'll blow my head open. When I thin it down to my 12mg, i'm going to loose some of that wonderful flavour.
    What to do now?
