Thanks!!

Doesn't sound to me like Karen Blumenfeld of New Jersey Global Advisors on Smokefree Policy is withholding her skepticism. "Blumenfeld mentions that e-liquids are largely unregulated and contain propylene glycol, which is a key ingredient in antifreeze" Can we end this one already, geez!

and another one of her quotes:

"The smokers of cigarettes who have switched to e-cigarettes are once again polluting the air that people breathe," she says. "I love that people are trying to quit smoking, but they are not cognizant that others are not safe. They emit a vapor smoke that could be harmful to other people."

Just sent Steve Wood who wrote that article an email thanking him and informing him how it is such a shame and injustice to have someone like executive director of New Jersey Global Advisors on Smokefree PolicyKaren Blumenfeld. She has such little or no knowledge of what she is talking about.
Her statement that " but they are not cognizant that others are not safe. They emit a vapor smoke that could be harmful to other people," does a great injustice to all of the public.
She does not even know that these e-cigs do not emit ANY SMOKE. There is no combustion taking place. For her to think there is "vapor smoke" is quite comical actually.

Keep this subject in the media Steve, as you have seen, there are thousands of people who are using this product.

Way to go stratus and everyone else's replys..been vaping for over a year now and I know that if I could'nt I'd go back to smoking. In my opinion the question is not if it's safe but is it safer and healthier than tobacco cigarettes. My 2 cents

Completely agree I definitely a healthier and safe for sure.

While I encourage others to send Karen Blumenfeld e-mails correcting her lies and misinformation, please note that she is a tobacco/nicotine prohibitionists who has been knowingly and intentionally lying about e-cigarettes for more than a year (because her goal is to ban the products). When she urged the NJ legislature to ban the use of e-cigarettes in workplaces, she lied by claiming that e-cigarettes emit harmful smoke.

I've known her for 15 years, and I've sent her all of the research on e-cigarettes (and continue to do so). But she is not interested in honesty or public health.

She's another prohibitionist who is decietfully claiming to be a public health advocate.

Wonder how she would react to being called a murderer or accessory to murder then? Because in my opinion that is exactly what she is at this point.
