Interesting that NJ GASP is receiving grants from Pfizer, maker of Chantix and Nicotrol. See here and here.

Which would explain why GASP is so eager to kill e-cigarettes. If too many people actually stop buying (smoked) cigarettes permanently, they will have no need to buy the products made by Pfizer, and there goes GASP's grant money.

deusXmchna would do well to read John Tierneys" November 7 article in the New York Times. It is a concise article on the forces against ecigs.

yes that nyt article was killer. woke a lot of people up. myself included.

and as good as that was, uk mhra sanctioned e-cigs will be even better. i just can't wait to read the anti response.

We should ban this chemical immediately. It's not safe.

Dihydrogen Monoxide:

is called "hydroxyl acid", the substance is the major component of acid rain.
contributes to the "greenhouse effect".
may cause severe burns.
is fatal if inhaled.
contributes to the erosion of our natural landscape.
accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals.
may cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes.
has been found in excised tumors of terminal cancer patients.
Despite the danger, dihydrogen monoxide is often used:
as an industrial solvent and coolant.
in nuclear power plants.
in the production of Styrofoam.
as a fire ......ant.
in many forms of cruel animal research.
in the distribution of pesticides. Even after washing, produce remains contaminated by this chemical.
as an additive in certain "junk-foods" and other food products.

Here is the link: Dihydrogen monoxide hoax - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia _hoax

For those who haven't clicked on the link, Dihydrogen Monoxide is another name for water. :)
