Harsh words? You're darn skippy they are!! I've HAD it!

I placed an order for a E9 kit with e-cig.com on Feb 27th in the amount of $184.55. (Don't even get me STARTED...).

I chose the 'MOTOpay option', thinking that my bank would allow it. They didn't. (Gee..wonder WHY?) So, I sent them an email explaining that I had made an error and gave them my Visa number, (I know, I know...NOW~) and asked if the order could be changed from their end.

Two days later I received an email from them telling me to place ANOTHER order, choose Visa as my payment method and they would cancel the original order.

Sure! So, I did so, on March 1st. The total for that one was $173.60.

In due time, (too long IMHO and I DIDN'T receive the promised tracking number until I had sent them THREE email requests for one), I received the kit. Piece of crap, but I didn't know that at the time I ordered it.

Fine. Expensive lesson, having blown $173.60 on a E9 Auto kit. With carts now I can't use on my 510's, Ego and KR8,

BUT, then I get an email telling me that my order is being processed. ???? Then, I put two and two together, (Or, rather, I put 173.60 and 184.55 together!!!)

I wrote back and explained what had occured, No response. Fine, they've stopped it at their end. Obviously not too quick on the emails back to customers I guess...great!

THEN, a few days later, I get another one that states it's being prepared to be shipped and should be at my front door soon. I repeated myself. I FINALLY got a response telling me that the order number I was referring to had been shipped.

I told them, FOR THE LAST TIME, that order was supposed to have been cancelled, as per THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS and if it DID show up here, I would not be accepting it.

It showed up. I didn't accept it. It's now somewhere in 'Postal Limbo'.

I want my money back and I want them to pay to get their own piece of crap kit back. If it was POSSIBLE, I'd LOVE to return the first USELESS set BACK to them, but I'd be happy if I could just NOT pay for a second kit I didn't order, don't want and wouldn't touch with a ten foot POLE.

I'm about ready to buy myself some plane tickets to China and have an 'up close and personal' talk with any and all concerned..

Well, I've reported them to the Admin on here, hopefully THEY'LL have better luck than little ol' me did on my own. ;)

Plus, I'm just REALLY p1ssed off! I HATE companies that do this kind of thing! I mean, you going to RETIRE on my 180.00 or something? STUPID business practices are what KILLS companies.

But, there's always a few that think maybe they CAN and get away with it.

Whew! That was ANOTHER rant, wasn't it?

Sorry about that!

So, did YOU ever get YOUR money back? 8-o

I paid for an order at the end of oct. 2009 It was resent twice, and now I'm still waiting for word from them. It was delivered back to them at least two weeks ago, according to the tracking. I was told that they would get in touch we me when it got back to them. I want to see how long thy will take, or if I will have to contact them again.

You must have ordered the whole store. I was going to get their basic E-9 kit for $29.98. It is cheaper than ordering a battery from EPuffer. for $48.00

In a case like this where it seems completely warranted, why don't you do a charge back with your cc company?

My problem lies in the fact that they're 2 separate transactions, made on 2 separate dates, 2 separate invoices..I don't really have a leg to stand on. If Visa contacts them, e-cig can say, TRUTHFULLY, that the merchandise was shipped to my address.

Don't really see how I CAN. :(

I would think that if you explain things to your CC issuer, as you've done here, you should be able to get some help. The fact that it was a misrepresented duplicate order and you refused delivery due to the fact that it was a duplicate AND the fact that the product is not of proper quality, they should help you out. You are their customer and they have much more incentive to keep you happy than they do some company in China that they will likely never do business with again. You've got nothing to lose except some time. I would certainly contact the card issuer and see what they say.

Thanks for the advice Sherrick, I think I'll give it a try! As I said earlier, didn't really think I'd have a leg to stand on...

Cheers!!

So why not put a stop pay (Iknow they already got paid) on your visa and let your bank deal with them. I did it with my bank and they give me the money up front and they went after and got the money. Next time as soon as there is the slightest hint of a dispute like the notice to ship contact your bank and dispute or put in a claim. It's why you have the bank for protection.

Crooks. I seriously think some "suppliers" make their money by only having first time & last time customers. You type in google ecigs and they are one of the first to come up. They charge an arm in a leg, then treat you like crap after you recieve your order. They don't want repeat business, they don't want to deal with you. They would just rather take your money and say bye bye because the nature of ecigs is they don't last.

Thank god I found the right company the first time. Situations like this could turn a newcomer off to ecigs right off the bat.

Hope it all works out for ya

If you've got the emails you received from them, forward them to the CC company. Don't just copy & paste, forward the entire email. Any documentation you have & send helps you.
