My Wife (vaping Bunny) has heard two days in a row on her way to work while listening to 107.3 the brew a Wichita Kansas station a ad for a e-cigarette! The E-cig in the ad is for Evo Vaper

Not sure about anyone else, but this is indeed exciting as publicity like this could be what is needed to kick things in to high gear, especially for those of us in Canada.

Either way this is something i for one would love to see what happens in coming days over this

that is great news, advertising is a welcomed quest for the industry. however i must add, that it is quite a commute from winnipeg to whichita kansas :laugh::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
well seeing as you have my childhood hero as a avatar i will comment :p

vapebunny is my little Kansas sweetheart, and i being from Cana-duh?! (this is said as humor), with immigration laws being what they are :)censored:) i have to spend time on the Canadian side of the border before going home again :D

I have come to love listening to 107 the brew, but then they seemed to drop the web browsing support unless you have Iheart radio subscription (which you can only get if you have a USA address AND IP Address), which is the same with Pandora radio. I was enjoying them through tune in for android, but the Canadian equivalent of the FCC shut that down too :)censored: :censored:)

That is why full credit goes to my vape bunny. She does not smoke (quit 20 years ago when she had our son), and does not vape, but is very excited i am off the stink sticks, so when she heard the ad she was very excited to tell me that there is advertising being done....

So i thought i would share with y'all :p hey if you-uns can advertise, then this could put some pressure on Health Canada (like the FDA) to finally say Canada can sell, and import e-cig's legally (they are starting to turn back some shipments at the border)

Convenience stores and gas stations are selling them by me. It's like they just came up out of nowhere!

Same here. I have been dabbling with them for about 4 years now ever since a kiosk showed up in my local mall. The company was one of the first companies out there but they have always been and still are a rip-off re-seller. Even though they have been around local malls for the past 4 years in Baltimore, they just started showing up at 7/11's, Walgreen's and Gas Stations all around me.

In my opinion, this worries me. The more mainstream they go, the more is attracts big brother.

Yup, I got my first one from a gas station... just a disposable. It costed like $8 and only lasted me around 3 hours so I said f that with disposables. I decided they'd be a great tool for me to quit smoking cigs so I ordered an Ego-C. I'm already wanting something better and it's been less than a week.

pardon me, as i am not sure, but which and who is big brother in this case? Blu e-cigg's have already been bought out by a big tobacco company. Also looking at the site, i seen they have 30ml (i think 1oz) for $18....what is the norm then for 30ml price wise?

It's perfectly legal to import and sell e-cigs in Canada. It's nicotine laced juice that cannot be imported or sold. But that still doesn't make it illegal to possess or use. Health Canada doesnt have that power.

I have actually seen some tv ads for e cigs. But they look like the same rip off deal as the mall kiosk and they only show really late at night.

I just find it rediculous what "they" deem sutible for showing on tv. Ads for the medication that relieves herpes flare ups but not condoms. Ads for nic gum and patches but not e cigs.

that is awsome, but at the same time it worries me... if vaping does go "mainstream" you can bet the farm that our "wonderfull, all-knowing, all-powerfull, knows what is best for you and everyone else" government will step in and make sure that all those hungry politicians will want thier slice of the pie, which means, govt. controlled, and if the govt. controlls it, it's gonna get ruined... also, we all know who runs the govt. right?? it's the companies with the most $:2c:$, they will want thier slice also... it's a shame it is the way it is today.... :(

I would be so mad that for the price of a pack I got 3 hours of vaping. But I just can't justify buying something electronic for more than 10 bucks...and then tossing it. I don't know if I'm the only one who feel that way but I like my vape gear and keeping it. I kinda get attached like my car or computer.

If anything like that happens I'm just glad we have out platform ECF to stick together with one another. Whatever happens to industry won't affect our passion as a community.
