Ok guys I see you down there come talk to me. I feel deserted.

Update on my CE2 5s (not clear). I'm still using my 1st one two weeks today. Considering they're $9 for 5 of them I'm pretty satisified with the performance and my juice tastes great in them. If you can let go of the clear requirement these are really good cartos.

Once again I haven't tried the clear ones because I gave up on clears about a month ago.

I am starting to get the feelling that I can't post on ANY quit smoking board without getting into fights.

When I see posts like this it just drives me crazy...

Electronic cigarettes have already changed that game.

We OFTEN tell people to have a cigarette if they feel they need one.
We OFTEN tell them to take their time and just let it happen.

Why do we tell them that? Because it helps take the pressure off.
We tell them that because it works.

In the context of an electronic cigarette discussion, I can not tolerate seeing that not one puff ever crap.

That's because it's based on the alcoholic addiction model of AA ie. "not one drink..."

It's unfortunate that when Hon Lik was developing e-liquid, he relied on pharmaceutical nicotine rather than developing a whole tobacco extract containing the full spectrum of tobacco alkaloids.

I hope someone gets on the ball and develops it before BP does!

If I had to bet on anyone it'd be Star Scientific. They're already working on CigRx - a non-nicotine product that uses other MAOIs they've extracted from tobacco (if I understand correctly.)

I've mentioned before that my wife and I tend to light one cigarette each about once a month. Cheers

My husband had a harder time quitting so he still smoked occasionally when we were out on the town after I switched completely. One night, about 2 years ago, I took a drag off his cigarette and HATED it. I've always hated the taste of the first cigarette after I'd quit for a while (tastes like dog poop smells), but this time I had no desire to "push through it" until it tasted good again. I wanted my French Vanilla Coffee!!

Ironically, those pleasant tasting flavors (that the antis claim are solely to entice kids because smokers wouldn't want them) are probably the single greatest factor in making me not want a cigarette ever again!

I don't reset my quit meter either. What a load of rubbish, beats me why those people are so obsessed by their meters. Apparently if you don't reset your quit meter after taking a drag on a smoke the earth will open up and swallow you and all your family and friends.

Hi to everybody!

Cheers

I saw that the one girl didn't even remember when she smokedso what was she supposed to set it to?

I especially like the its not fair to the rest of us? How does how long I've been quit or claim to be quit either help or hurt you? I mean seriously.

I think I would've reset it had it been me but its not a huge deal certainly not worth fighting over.

I just ordered 30 CE2 R5 clearo's because of the awful batch of the G4 clearo's I just got. I like the clear concept and was really happy with the first G4s (I must have got lucky some how) but the second batch were dreadful, so I need to try something else. Type B ego tanks were good but the atties (LR) didn't last more than a couple of days before they became to hard to draw on so I stopped buying them.

I'll be interested to see how the CE2 clearo's go, they should arrive about next Tuesday.

Cheers

Oh, that is so true. We disliked the tobacco flavours intensely, if that's all there was I doubt we'd have quit.

Cheers

Let me know how they work for you because hubby likes the clear ones. I might too if they didn't crack and leak but I'm happy with the non clears because they're outlasting anything else I've tried.

The clear dualies are ok, but they are just stinkin easy to break. I guess using a cone would help on the egos, but I hate cones. Im crossing fingers the saphires will be good. But Im thinking if I go dualy again, I better go with steel tube. :p

I'll certainly let you know how we go. I hope they're good as we bought 30 of them, any less and the shipping cost per item is prohibitive from China. My wife and I are the opposite to you and hubby, SHE likes the clears, I'm not much fussed either way. :)

Cheers

I've had pretty good luck with the clear dualies. Haven't broken one yet but they do seem fragile. And I don't take them out of the house.

Would like them better if the drip tips would stay in better.

This was probably my last (and only) order of them.

So you CAN post every now and then. :p

Hey Shannon. Yep it's been forever since Curvy has been around. She posted at the Q about a week ago and I thought maybe she would post here. But she never did.

It gets slow in here now and then. But it usually picks back up.

And I do read more than I post. That's for sure.

:)

Sometimes I wonder if we should keep the serious stuff separate from the chit chat.

I was just thinking about Curvy the other day and wondering where she'd gone.

Where did Magnus & Nate go? :(

Well the VR thread for one. I'm not sure where else they've been hanging out. Nate got a bit irritated about a conversation... I think it was yesterday. I hope he's just taking a break because generally there aren't fights in here.

No idea why Magnus hasn't been in. I kinda saw when Nate left plus I messaged him but Magnus seems to have a lot bothering him right now and I don't want to be pushy so I figured I'd give it a couple days before I bother him about it.

ETA: Curvy's last activity was yesterday so she's still coming to ECF. I left her a message on her profile cause that's what Sallie does when I go AWOL.

I've been busy working on a new e-cigarette user survey for CASAA, updating the CASAA blog/Facebook and Twitter accounts and my household shopping list for this weekend. (Shopping lists get pretty complicated when you are a sport couponer, lol!)

What got Nate upset?? I hope it wasn't something I said! :(
