I've been thinking the same thing about many of those same type of posts on the QSMB but was afraid i wouldn't be able to express it correctly. I'm glad you did.

I wouldn't dare say it over there though, lol! ;)

I think that is why most smoking quits fail - the person's head is in it (logically,) but their heart isn't.

Yeah, I hear you. I'm a stubborn, Irish, fiscally conservative, socially liberal-ish agnostic! In a word - schizophrenic! (And frustrating to just about every one. LOL!)

That would get me in trouble. I am totally a socialist living in a conservative province and I have no organized religious views. I also have a degree in Social Work and want to save the world. I am a lost cause LOL

I'm trying not to rant today, so I'll just sit here and vape :)

Actually I've been working on a little something for us DIYers...

https://spreadsheets.google.com/spr...akc5VEZaMm9Wa0x6aFE&hl=en_US&authkey=CIWc0tQG

I like where the spreadsheet is going.

I know there are quite a few DIY calculators out there, but I think they're all fugly and are (possibly) missing some useful functionality. I was thinking of making one myself in my spare time. Anybody out there use any of those calculators? If so, is there anything you would like to see changed/added?

I think quits fail cause not only does the person really doesn't want to nor do some realize that forvever/never thing is hard at first to embrace plus with quit aids they make people think wow I use their product I can skate thru this quit not realizing quitting takes guts & willpower & the right attitude & for those who are lucky enough not to be where they really must quit or else they know they can "play" at quitting for awhile-this is just my take ok?

Kind of what I said - their head is in it but their heart isn't. (They know they should but don't really want to.)

But I'm not sure I understood what you meant by "play at quitting?" Can you explain that a bit more?

I like eJuice me up eJuice Me Up - e-Juice e-Liquid Recipe Calculator. It's got everything I need, though 2 nice additions would be cost calculations and a way to dump the specs of the mix for printing labels. I especially like the "Print Recipe Card" feature.

...nor do some realize that forvever/never thing is hard...

It's overwhelming and depressing to think about never doing something ever again. When I quit drinking, I had a really difficult time understanding and living the "one day at a time" mantra. One day it finally clicked for me. It'll be one year next month. I think quitting alcohol and the experience I gained from it has really helped in this quit. Alcohol was a huge trigger for me.

Playing at quitting-to me thats people who try but not really to quit-you know the types-a dr. or husband/wife or whatever wants you to quit cause either they have or don't at all & want to be with a nonsmoker. Thats my take cause I've been trying since the late 90's to quit but until my heart attack didn't really try all that hard.

I was thinking the same thing! You know what they say about great minds...

I would also like the ability to use more than 5 ingredients. I know that's probably not a common issue for most people though. I also don't like how it handles pre-mixed bases. What size labels were you thinking?
