I have a questions... it's becoming increasingly difficult to stay on top of this thread's advocacy/education component. The thread has organically moved through all manner of topics which is cool and all. I like that (obviously).
However, should the core advocacy/education documents and revisions... ideas and attack plans, etc. be moved over to the "Organizations with the Ability to Listen" section of ECF? Or somewhere else? -Magnus

And give us another thread to keep up with....yikes! I think I like it as is but I'm certainly open to majority rule.
It's just become hard to find specific John or Kristen posts for example and I don't want to blog or bookmark every post to try to maintain some semblance on a mini-thread. However it goes, you're certainly a core person to this and if you don't want it, I completely understand and will manage. Just step back from the salsa and sour cream. Slowly. -Magnus
Well we've always agreed on things as a group so whatever the better part of the group thinks will manage.
I can always catch up while you normal people sleep and there's only a few of us on.
Yes our Magnus is always good for a laugh... many days those are the only laughs I get so as you can imagine Magnus=win.

Ugh, I think my boss was just starting to feel like I'm valuable again after my apparent "work coma" of the last few weeks! I'm going to need to clone myself if we splinter off to a new thread.

OMG, lolady you are downright dangerous for a p(ortly)oman afflicted with way too many years of smoking. I am on the floor, doubled up like a baby, tears flying everywhere and choking to death. Im not sure how much more I can stand but I will suffer through it. Genius.
I am not sure why we would be following John or Kristen's specific posts? Kristen is a member of CASAA which is admirable in some aspects. John is a newer member who was treated badly on a quit smoking board and posted a link to said website\thread. This got all of us involved due to our anger\shock. I really don't like the way this is evolving...there are no "leaders" here. If people want to view John, Kristen's or any other members post history click on their alias\name and view their post history. No disrespect but the "Mob Mentality" can go both ways.

Nobody said anything about leaders. Rank. Class. Or whatever.... but unless I've completely failed at literacy it appears a few people have been writing HowTos and other advocacy documents or references. John, Kristen, I think Randy was involved, some others editing.
Oddly enough a good portion of this thread was about where to move the right things to talk about. There has been end-results and work product that has come from all this. I don't think it's unreasonable to put some organization around that if you want it to be used. Exactly why I asked the question... Clearly by even mentioning only John and Kristen I left people out. So following their posts only wouldn't get me much better anyway.
There have been a few 'No' answers already so that puts it to rest but any implication I'm trying to classify people within the thread as leaders and followers is unfounded. -Magnus
Exactly. And since that seems like less of a priority for others, that's fine... put it to rest. To turn it into me ranking somebody above another is absurd. Recognizing their work is not the same thing as classifying them above or anyone else below. -Magnus
