That doesn't mean the Tobacco has original sin. Just the louts smoking it. -Magnus
And you just inadvertently also touched on one of the issues the FDA is freaking out about because their bosses (Congress) is freaking out about it.
Taxes.
They've taxed the sin out of Tobacco and need that revenue. By means of their taxes they've made e-cigs far more economical than they'd be otherwise. Which is causing former tax revenue sources (that we'd normally call CITIZENS) to stop paying into that pool. Their first instinct is to ban it all ban it all to hell! Then the instinct is try to control and tax it.

I wonder if she does haiku as well as she does prose. If she does, I'd pay to read them.
It seems to be a slow process by government and other money making interests to shut down e-cigarettes. About 4 to 5 years by now. It may be slow due to sensing how easily they can caught with their pants down - being seen by the public to actively advocate resuming smoking and killing yourself, when there are no proven harmful effects from e-cigarettes so far.
It must be a tricky situation that goverment faces where they can't just throw their weight around like they are used to.

Update on the NSF board...
Boudee thinks your idea (Randyrtx) for a "short list" of known good suppliers is fantastic.
If you're willing to take suggestions, I'll be glad to start.
Hardware
--Cignot
--Liberty Flights
--Healthcabin (non-US)
--Madvapes
Juice vendors
--Tasty Vapor
--Madvapes (Dekang)
There are just my suggestions, feel free to ignore them if you wish.
This is, after all, your project.

WoW MustangSallie, Thanks! You've made my night and swelled my head even larger than it already was!
I've been so juice-blessed and don't even know yet which ones will go into my PIF Hope Chest, so if I won, I would just ask to have it passed on to the PIF Emergency Department for the next person who was having a Juice Emergency to pick the flavor, BUT - how about this, after the contest is done, I will do some haikus just for you! - Oh, and free.No amount of money could compare with such a wonderful compliment!

This is one way in which We The People can take back our Government. In America we do not live in a Democracy, we live in a Republic. America is a republic Not a democracy - we have a democratic form of elections and free enterprise system that is governed largely by democratic notions. That is all. A Democracy form of government is basically Mob Rule, the Majority makes the rules for All. Our forefathers were dead set against having this form of government, so they instituted a Republic instead.

They have not been able to get rid of e-cigs because The People spoke. Now they have to keep e-cigs but will try to regulate them. At worst they can make the sale of liquid nicotine illegal but only if We The People allow them to make those decisions for us.

It's always interesting the differences in American and Canadian governments. Somewhat similar but really divergant on some core components. And it's always good to learn more about American governing mechanisms.
Both Canada and US have put high taxes on tobacco sales over a couple of decades citing the ill health effects and keeping out of the hands of minors who shouldn't be able to afford $10 for a pack of smokes. Not really a move to protect personal rights and freedoms and these high taxes were put into effect without any public input - they just did it.
The FDA had been legally forced to stand down as we know and this is the people having a voice for sure. I just don't see political advisors coming up with ideas to vigorously ban and remove e-cigarettes which could easily be seen as making people kill themselves with smoking so the tax money can keep pouring into goverment coffers.
I don't know if you read any of the links and to be honest, I really don't know much about Canada. I'd like to know more because I know it's owned by the Queen. To me it's a partly French speaking U.K. The American form of Republic was created almost like an experiment because it hadn't been done quite like that before. Our courts can actually through laws to limit and the People change the way Government works when it seeks to usurp the freedoms of those people. In parliament, if they declared all citizens must wear the same uniform made of green and pink polka dots the courts could not overturn that decision. In America the courts can have that decision overturned. The Queen owns more countries around the world than anyone else. That's kinda scary. She may allow for those places to largely govern themselves but I believe she or Parliament has the final say. I don't know if you guys get real history in your schools. We do not. We get a tainted twisted version of history and it sickens me that our kids are taught this load of crap. ( Look up "Lies My teacher Told Me" by James Lowen for an example of this) It makes it harder when searching the net for information on other countries governments because you don't know whats true and what is propaganda.
Are Canadians "nice"?
We'd certainly all like to think so, but as long as Canada has all these vast areas full of more snow than could possibly be made into balls and snow people, even if every single Canadian spent every minute of every day doing nothing else, ever, and year after year, it insists on keeping every scrap of that snow to itself, while at least a full third of its closest neighbor country is populated by children who have never even seen snow, not even once - well, there's going to be some resentment...
