Not as far as I know. It's just kinda wishful thinking. It's hard working being over there. I wouldn't mind it being hard work if it was for a good reason, like helping someone out with e-cig and related questions. This effort of responding to the crazy posts when it shouldn't have to be this way... well...

Nate, I apologize. I didn't mean to offend you and I try not to stoop to such a base level. I don't like it when I do that either. Sometimes circumstances just get the best of me (or worst of me), that's not one of my better qualities. I hope you don't mean you're leaving the thread, but I understand why you wouldn't want to be associated with something you find unpleasant.
I think the thank you was for Fred removing Hecates post telling Katie she was offended by her calling e-cigs "e-cancerettes".

I agree its denigrated, but how long are WE all expected to turn the other cheek while they get to run a muck? They have earned ever little piece of dirt thrown at em, and they've only received a SMALL portion of what they've earned. Their getting " their just commins' ".
I wont bring myself even remotely close to feeling the least bit sorry for a single one of em....nope, aint happening.
And yes, hecats posted a thread "in the main forum" about katiem. It lasted a couple hours. It was out of hand weeks ago, we just couldnt do anything about it, much less post what we truely wanted to say. And its apparent, as has been, that teh q board referee is completley one sided. But thats the only place they get that home field advantage. Everywhere else is fair game, and neutral. Anywhere else, it never wouldve gotten to this point. It only has cause freddyboy allowed it to, and with a crowd that is happy to take advantage of that fact.
There aint a single person here that could say " they dont deserve that ", aside from the 2 wrongs dont make a right argument. This fighting hasnt been about who's right or wrong, it has been about the right to EXIST on the board, and just be left alone.

I don't feel sorry for them in the least, BC, but we also don't have to lower ourselves to their level (no matter how justified).

Like I said, I just don't care for how things have, in my opinion, taken a turn for the worse. I've done my fair share and I apologize. It's time to move on. We're never going to convince some of them that e-cigs are a viable method for quitting smoking. There's no reason to continue to beat our heads into the wall. The only thing we achieve is a headache.

No I am on the hook till 0700. All the staff showed up. Everyone is hydrated well it seems. ONly excitement is one fell over in the wheelchair. Other than that smooth sailing.
We had to go out to the launderette to do laundry as the dryer is dead.
We had dinner at B.K.

Yeah, everyone here is gentle and kind at heart. I just cant help but feel a sense of duty to stand up to these people, simply because we are NOT weak, and have the strength to stand our ground as the other groups before us did not. ( and they hang that garb in pride of how they shoved the last group out quickly, right beth? ) I kinda like forcing them to keep their wicked ideology inside the Q, and do what we can to keep them there, even if its just a good pounding anytime they are seen wandering about. We can only hope that once they recieve enough of their own medicine without protection, they will realize how they treat people, and maybe, just maaayybe change their ways. At LEAST lighten up. But good luck. Their addicted to the POWER...forget the nicodemon, they are power hungry folk there.
For name calling and all, Im not much for it either. BUT, I do see the tools they use to combat, and I dont approve, but I like nothing more than to use those tools better than they do, against them.
Personally, I think its a hopeless battle, so even if all I get is to finally speak my peace, Ill be happy. Walking away with my tail tucked just aint my style. Im gonna get a few shots in after I get sucker punched a dozen times.

That's very true. I know there were a few places in this thread and the prior one where we bragged about just that.
Stephanie is at least right about that part of her treaty, even if it never stood a chance. Name calling and snide remarks can be hurtful.
Can't imagine having to spend time in a launderette on a day like today.
It was pretty bad in southern Maine too, temps in the 90s, very humid. I ventured out only when the dogs needed to run around a bit. We were all happy to come back inside to the cool dry air. We did treat them to some D.Q. though.

It is better to get it all done in one swing than load after load when the dryer gets fixed which could be a day or two.
WE were only there for an hour and a half. They have those big maxi loaders. (Not the hygiene kind guys) That can do 3-4 loads.
One person's pillow exploded in the dryer. It was rather funny.
One lady came in with 8 baskets of laundry. Two weeks of laundry for her family. She was doing it all alone.

Totally off-topic, if any post in this thread can even be off-topic.
Just bought a heated pet bed for Cleo, our ageing abby, who's starting to show signs of Arthritis.
Works a treat, even though it's freezing here (cold makes it worse) she's limping much less.
Highly recommended if any of you have pets with the same problem.
