I'm sure the FDA has and is "Considering" many things they could do
to satisfy their masters in the pharmaceutical industry.

The big issue with the FDA is not whether or not to regulate
but what regulations they can impose without getting their ... sued off ... Again
:p

Agreed, but I don't think it's just BP that would benefit from the online sales ban, but BT would benefit greatly as well. If all e-cig products had to be sold in B&M stores, then BT could take control of the distribution channels that much easier.

I agree ... MANY would benefit from banning on-line sales of e-cigs.
However .... Ain't going to happen !!!

How do I know ??
I've have a crystal ball !!

And the point of doing that would be... what? So the FDA can get hammered with e-mails of protest to the contrary?

And then there's that whole "I read it on a blog so it must be true" aspect to the rumor. That, and it's not like this is anything we don't already know.

We aren't even into the "...proposals for public comment" aspect to any of this. Relax already.

I can see how they could control nicquid that way, but I can't see how they could stop hardware sales. I totally agree that it's both BP and BT that would benefit from such regulation as both are key clients of the FDA now.
