I think that perhaps in Borneo, more traditional local methods might be used more effectively than "breathing exercises and water" for smoking cessation. For example how about NRTs made with a mixture of nicotine and curare; or pharmaceutical interventions based on poison arrow frog mix. The Dayaks know a thing or two about local forms of 'pharmacotherapy'.

These might even prove more successful than conventional interventions. They couldn't be any worse.
