I'm glad to see there's positive info on e-cigs out there. I really do hope that people see them as a good thing, and not the negative thing that most antz seem to want them to be. From my general consensus of talking to random people, most know what the e-cig is, and they know it's a positiive thing. So I definitely think, from a general population standpoint (Gov't and FDA and BT and all that aside), we're trending in the right direction.

Analysts say it likely will take years for e-cigs to generate sales volume to challenge traditional cigarettes. Lorillard’s e-cig sales were about 1 percent of the company’s $6.62 billion in sales during fiscal 2012. THats a whole lot of money!!! A conveinence store in my neighborhood has a huge Blu display on the check out counter. I asked the clerk how many Blu cigs they were selling. She mentioned in four hours of her shift she sold roughly a dozen units. Thats pretty significant.

Wonder what was used as the sales? Things only like Blu, were liquid companies and mod companies included?

You're right it is significant, you're talking about a relatively new industry taking only years to challenge something that has been around for 100s of years.

Decent article but still with lies...
Purity of products is up for question.
I know most don't but I buy my nicotine from a lab and comes with a gov seal of approval for its purity, and VG from the same lab... concentrated flavors are alcohol based but from a vendor (I guess this would be the only part of my liquid that could be questioned).
If I am concerned about my levels of nicotine, such a litmus test approach is even sold on eBay (for only a few bucks), if my memory serves me well.

Yep- all the big players are gearing up for this...the little guys will get squashed out if things go as planned.
I gotta say... I trust the mom and pops over a tobacco company in a minute as far as ingredients go. Not so sure about sanitized labs as far as some small vendors tho??
