E-cigs banned? What will you do?

If e-cigs are banned outright, what will you do?

  • I'll continue to vape and hope for the best!

  • I guess I'll stop vaping (and NOT go back to analogs).

  • I've got stockpiles, hopefully they'll hold me over!

  • I'm looking into mods and alternatives and DIY liquid.

  • PANIC!!

  • *Vape, vape, vape* I'm not worried, really.

  • I'll get my e-cig parts, no matter what!

  • I'll get my liquid, no matter what!

  • It's back to analogs and/or FDA approved NRT's for me :(

  • I've already begun hoarding, and will continue to do so.

  • I'll attempt small orders and hope they make it through.

  • I'll just take my chances and not make any changes (using, buying).

  • I'll do everything in my power to rally for the ban to be lifted!

  • Ban? What ban?

  • I don't have a plan and I don't know what I'm going to do.

I'm curious what everyone plans to do if there is a definitive and complete ban on e-cigs and liquid?

I'm hoping there will be no ban but I think we all know differently.

I'll continue to vape, and hope my parts last long enough for me to find another method of obtaining them. I'll probably start trying my hand at DIY liquid, with no nic and hope for the best. :(

Answers are multiple choice!!

I believe we will still be able to get e-cigarettes and e-liquids somehow. I can't go back to smoking stinky analogs and have coughs, nasal drips, sinus problem, etc. etc. plus analogs are now very expensive to buy which is not worth at all. Makes no sense to me as to why they would ban this wonderful device. They can't and they won't be able to. First they need to ban analogs, right?

We have this forum to go underground :D

Have faith. We will just keep on fighting. They don't have a leg to stand on, really.

I have been stocking up now for the last 3 months now--mostly bulk orders from China. So I have enough to last a long time now. By the time I run out of supplies, some resolution hopefully will be completed.---Sun

All these petty bureaucraps will accomplish with this is to drive it underground and create a black market.

Notice how effective revenue (law)-enforcement has done with crack and everything else. Idiots never learn.

I totally agree. Heck, it might even be cheaper for us if the feds DON'T get their grubby little fingers into this industry.

I have had a taste of vaping, my lungs have been filled with smoke free air. I refuse to fail. Knowledge is a dangerous thing and they can't take that from us. We will make our own juice, we will make our own parts.
( This is one of those times I'm happy to be an engineer.) :)
And for those out there that doesn't have the talent. Remember our government can't even stop illegal drugs from coming into this country let alone are juices and parts.
We will all keep the faith and help each other, because none of us want to go back to analogs.:(
The ones I really feel sorry for are the ones that may not have a chance to have or know of this alternative.
We must go forth and spread the knowledge no matter what happens.:D

GNSmith - start using those engineer brains to reverse-engineer these things.....and improve the atty life!

I've got a stockpile, I'll look into mods, alternatives, DIY juices....heck, my plan has always been to go nic free. It might be happening a bit sooner than expected, though.

One thing I will also do is continue to have my voice heard - this is a fight I will not abandon! For the first time in my life I've found a cause - something that impacts more than just me or my immediate family, and I can't just walk away from that.

These things are - logically - a way to reduce the harm done by far too many years of tobacco manipulation and control - this is a new form of nicotine recreation, and it's not a bad thing!

I'm with you Vick, it's been a long time since I've had a cause and a chance to slap big brother and the all mighty tobacco industry in the face.:D

I quote myself from another post:

"Thats what i've been trying to say. But it may not be a gauntlet as we think. I draw examples from Singapore and Australia. Both countries has banned ecigs officially. Singapore has a complete ban, with customs having full knowledge of what an ecig is. I've heard that the Australia ban only covers a specific region. I'm not sure about this.

Singapore might be a small Asian country but have the toughest rules and enforcement around the world.

Personal EMS parcels are STILL getting through in these countries. The same even for Thailand, as far as i know.

For the time being, Chinese retail seems to be the answer for vapers. Thats what i'm advising to my US friends anyway. That is, until we score a victory against the FDA or when a ruling that goes in our favor is in place."
