Haha Kate, better be careful else you will get the dutch food- and goods-police all over you... ;)
tobacco-smokers in the netherlands have been founding a new religion, making pubs into the churches of that religion - a religion in which smoking is neccessary to honour their god... for some reason or other that really ticks off these 'police'-people; they have gotten very aggrevated by anyone smoking while 'declaring religion' meanwhile... they go around slapping fines on each of these that they can track down... :D

That's funny, a tobacco related religion.

I think rastafarians argue that it's part of their religion that they use cannabis, lol. It is a valid argument for some traditions like native americans to use tobacco apparently. To be honest though I can see why the authorities in modern day Europe won't play ball.

We'll never get away with the religion argument unless we can convince the powers that we are a new hybrid race that is genetically predisposed to the ritual of vaping and getting nicotine buzzes for higher states of consciousness. I prefer the idea of us being a cult or secret society anyway, religions are so stuffy and conservative most of the time. :)

The whole idea behind the 'smoke-religion' is of course, that churches are sanctuaries where police aren't allowed to enter and interfere... they hoped to get away from the smoking-ban in pubs and restaurants this way. Others have found other ways of coping.. there are a few places where the workers now stay outside of the pub-area, and just send in toy-trains carrying the ordered drinks and food. There is also a place where holes were made into an outer wall, through which to stick head and arms... so body is inside the pub while cigs are outside...
The current situation sure brings out quite a bit of creativity :D

Update :-

One of my classic batteries fell apart, which Simon promptly replaced. Unfortunately the replacement battery lasted a very short while :( Have no fear though, Simon will be rushing another replacement to me (Its a shame about the Chinese quality control, as my other original battery that came with the start kit works a full day from morning till night off one charge and has a good sensitive switch)

Simon's service is first class, and as such I have just placed my third order with him. It is well worth keep going back to someone you know is quick to turn problem around. We all know that e-cigs are unreliable, so you can't ask for anything more than someone who replaces your faulty gear next day. I've been happily handing out his business cards to anyone who asks me where they can get an e-cig.

I've just bought 100 menthol carts, as I have decided that they are my long term e-smoking flavour of choice.

Also bought another classic start kit, so I've got plenty of spares to keep me going.

Other than the 2 duff batteries the classics are still working great, producing loads of smoke and have great cartridge life.

Oh and I have still not smoked a single real cigarette since I got my first order from e-cigs.co.uk. The classic makes giving up smoking sooo easy. I am getting everything I need from it and have not even been tempted to start on the real cigs again.

Once I've used my 100 high strength menthol, I am going to get 100 more in the next lower nicotine level, until one day (hopefully) I am on the zero carts

Update : The 3rd battery is working fine :) Thanks Simon for rushing that to me.

Also the new classic start kit seems to be working fine.

10 out of 10 for e-cigs.co.uk again

Also I am on my 3rd week of non-smoking, thanks to the e-cigs and I have no intention of starting again ever. e-cigs have made quitting smoking so easy as they give me everything I got from the smoking experience.

When previously attempting to quit smoking .... a few days after stopping cigarettes my lungs brought up all sorts of crap in the self cleaning process. With e-cigs however, this has not happened. Does this mean that my lungs will not start self cleaning until I give up the e-cigs as well?

Update :-

100% esmoking since August last year ..... no real cigs at all.

I am not ready to give up the ecigs yet, however I am on the low strength carts and also I only e-smoke at home and on the occasional night out. I no longer e-smoke at work or in the car.

e-cigs.co.uk has been consistantly fantastic! I always buy all my spares and carts from Simon. Every single order has arrived next day (providing I order in the morning and not in the middle of the night of course) and every single faulty item has been replaced without any hassle (I had a few bad items .... but not recently ..... everything in the last couple of months has worked flawlessly, so maybe quality has improved at the manufacturer?)

I would go as far as to say ecigs.co.uk is the most impressive company I have ever dealt with. 10 out of 10 for service/price/warranty.
