e-cigs more harmful than good?

I've been vaping on my Joye 510 for about 4 weeks now. So far everything's been good, I lost one at a bar and the other one broke within days.

I always suggest to folks that once they have made a decision to stick with their e cig over analogs that they buy spare batteries, atomizers, cartridges etc. More if the brand you picked takes a long time to ship. Don't overlook a spare battery charger too. They have been known to go bad.

It seems expensive to do this, and maybe it is a little bit up front, but its actually not so long as you will not be buying regular cigarettes.

I've been vaping on my Joye 510 for about 4 weeks now. So far everything's been good, I lost one at a bar and the other one broke within days. What ever you do, do not mess with the atomizer unless you are an expert. Mine tasted like burnt plastic and i noticed strands of plastic hairs inside so i pulled them out thinking it was a piece of my filler. Nope, it was installed in there from the factory, why i ask? I have no idea. Anyways to my question.

Will lacing regular cigarettes with e-juice be harmful to the body besides the analog cig already itself? Since I have to wait 1-2 weeks to get my new e-cig shipment from China I've purchased analog cigs in the mean time and whoa marlboro red 100's cant even satisfy my cravings any more. I literally had to drop e-juice around my cig to feel anything.

I'm a bit worried now cause I am 100% sure that I am way more addicted to nicotine than ever before. I don't mind vaping for the rest of my life, I just hope it doesn't get banned cause if it does I'll prob end up smoking 2x more than before and dying of cancer earlier.

i feel the same way about smoking x2 if vaping gets banned.

Actually, for me my 510 is not satisfying me. I'm still having lots of cravings. So I am chain vaping my 510. Then when I go back to analogs to satisfy my cravings, a cigarette seems to go by so fast that I have to have another. I think it is a nicotine thing when I have to chain vape my 510, then a mental thing when I have to have more than one analog. I don't really know what is going on. However, I'm smoking far less analogs than I used to so I'm not that worried.
What strength of juice are you using? Maybe you just need to bump it up a bit. I'm using anywhere between 16 and 24 mg's and don't get any cravings at all.

OK- Heres the deal...

You vape in a different breathing pattern than you smoke.
Second, the delivery of the nicotine thru vapor, along with the smooth, consistant taste, leaves you unsatisfied by using an analog. You crave the delivery of the e-cig, bc its better tasting and consistant.

Third, nicotine levels- Im not sure what you started on, but I started on 36mg. Since June, I have decreased my nic levels to 11mg. This was very easy for me. When I get my bottle of a level down and my higher level is almost empty, I take the top off and mix it in. That way, Im gradually working my nic level down with no notice of the change. Also, with only vaping 11mg, I have cut a quarter of one of my bottles with VG and vape it at night, when I tend to vape the most. This way, my transition to 0nic will go unnoticed.

I hope this helps you! I loved smoking, but had to quit for health reasons. I plan to vape just for the act of it and well, the flavor after I cut the nic out completely. If for some reason I have to quit vaping, my addiction will be a thing of the past!

:)

Let me know if I can help you in any way if you plan to go the same route! Good Luck!

Forgive me if I am jumping to conclusions, and not treating a newbie fairly, but there is something very strange here. Aspects of your story and behavior are not sitting right with me. After vaping for 4 weeks, which is about where I am, I would have a very hard time suddenly smoking 2x the analogs I did before I started vaping. It would make me very sick, to say the least. I think many here would be in a similar situation should they choose to do that.

After 4 weeks of 510 vaping, I have learned an enormous amount about ecigs in general, and certainly enough to know I can order from someone domestically. Surely you surfed to more than just one website to shop for your 510, right? Have someone like Phil at esmokytreats.com send you a couple batts and attys...you'll get them in about 2 days.

DO NOT SMOKE E-JUICE!!! It will be like smoking a burning marshmallow. VG and PG will form all manner of combustion products.

What nic level were you vaping?

I may get flamed here. Why do you sound like an anti ecig person who has never actually done it and tried to come up with the most insane hypothetical problematic situation to show how someone out of control can end up hurting themselves by doing something stupid with e-juice, or ending up even more addicted to analogs due to vaping at all? Sorry if this is insulting, but you sound like a "scary what-if"?

I will be relieved if proven wrong, but I smell a troll. Something is not right here.

I've gone hours with out a vape, and the craving for nicotine is less than that of a real smoke.

After over a month of vaping, I feel *slightly* less addicted to nicotine than with analogs.

Besides, I've always thought analogs have nasty chemicals that are supposed to boost the addictiveness of nicotine, something which e-cigs don't have.

I don't get it either, but everybody is different.

is that flaming troll I smell?

I have been on too many forums (and admin them) to care about being flamed. Next post will probably be what a rush one gets from dropping in the eyes.

If you are for real, up the nic or just lower how MUCH you smoke. If I can't stand the pressure I don't fight, I go out and have a cig. I don't feel bad about it, not one bit. I am not smoke 20-30 a day. Maybe 1-2 in HALVES.

I am in this to be healthier (already lowered the blood pressure meds) not to give up smoking as I did not want to. Not financially, not for 'social' reasons, but becauseI don't want a stroke before 40 :D

My 'flaming troll comment' was merely a comment on the OP and thread in general not directed at you. Just thought I'd clarify that :)

B00gym4n, I doubt you got hardly any nicotine in the ecig compared to what you must have been smoking in cigarettes. You might think about trying to cut down on your cigarette smoking, then when you get another atomizer, the little amount of nicotine in the juice may satisfy you. You might also want to buy a lot of atomizers at one time if you break and lose them often.

I don't think ridicule is warranted here, especially to a newb.......

If you do not have an intelligent or understanding response to offer, perhaps you should refrain and move on.

VapeOn,
Greg

isn't calling someone a newb the same as ridicule?

and uh, no, you DON'T SMOKE e-juice, that's why it's e-juice. otherwise it would be called a tobacco cigarette.
